Master the Altus Plateau in Elden Ring: Boss Guides, Locations, and Rare Drops

The Altus Plateau, located in the northwest part of the Elden Ring map, can be accessed through various methods. One way is to collect both halves of the Dectus Medallion and utilize the Grand Lift of Dectus. Alternatively, players can venture to the lowest levels of the Raya Lucaria Academy and meet their demise at the hands of the Abductor Virgins.

Upon reaching the Altus Plateau, players will be met with a vast expanse of golden trees and lush grass. The region is also abundant with useful Elden Ring Crafting Materials. However, the remnants of the Shattering are still visible in the numerous abandoned structures scattered throughout the area.

Altus Plateau, the home of the Erdtree, is one of the largest regions in Elden Ring. As players venture through the area, they will face formidable enemies and bosses, but will also have the opportunity to collect a variety of useful items, such as Talismans and Consumables. Defeating the available bosses will reward players with Runes and special drops, including Remembrance weapons. To obtain these rewards, players must familiarize themselves with each boss' weaknesses.

Altus Plateau or Main Altus Plateau is a section from the Altus Plateau Region in Elden Ring. Other than that, there is also Mt. Gelmir and Leyndell, Royal Capital.

Misbegotten Warrior And Perfumer Tricia

The Unsightly Catacombs, located near the Perfumer's Ruins in Altus Plateau, features a challenging boss fight against the Misbegotten Warrior and Perfumer Tricia duo. Upon defeating them, players are rewarded with 9,400 Runes and Perfumer Tricia Ashes.

Ancient Dragon Lansseax

The Ancient Dragon Lansseax awaits Tarnished on a hill overlooking the Abandoned Coffin Site of Lost Grace. Once Tarnished has dealt significant damage to the dragon, it will relocate to the southwest of the Rampartside Path bonfire in Altus Plateau. Alternatively, players can choose to skip the initial encounter and head straight to the second location.

Defeating the Ancient Dragon Lansseax grants players an Elden Ring Incantation, Lansseax's Glaive, and 60,000 Runes.

Demi-Human Queen Gilika

Players can find the elusive Demi-human Queen Gilika lurking within the depths of the Lux Ruins, located northeast of the Altus Plateau's Site of Lost Grace. Defeating this formidable foe will not only grant access to a secret room, but also reward players with the coveted Ritual Sword Talisman and a hefty sum of 8,500 Runes.

Magma Wyrm Makar can be found as an optional boss in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, which is situated towards the northwest of the Grand Lift of Dectus. If you manage to defeat Magma Wyrm Makar, you can obtain 24,000 Runes, Magma Wyrm's Scalesword, and a Dragon Heart as loot.

Godefroy The Grafted

Godefroy the Grafted is held captive within the Golden Lineage Evergaol, located southeast of the Grand Lift of Dectus. Defeating him will grant players a valuable reward of 26,000 Runes and the highly coveted Elden Ring Talisman, along with the Godfrey Icon.

Night's Cavalry

Elemer Of The Briar

To encounter the Night's Cavalry of the Altus Plateau, one must venture to the northeast of the Grand Lift of Dectus during the nocturnal hours. This particular boss has the potential to drop a whopping 10,000 Runes, along with an Elden Ring Ash of War, Shared Order.

Deep within the confines of the Shaded Castle, located to the north of the Second Church of Marika in Altus Plateau, lies the formidable Elemer of the Briar boss. Defeating this boss will yield 24,000 Runes, as well as the highly coveted Marais Executioner's Sword and Briar Greatshield.

Godskin Apostle

Upon reaching the highest hill in Dominula, Windmill Village, players can challenge the formidable Godskin Noble. This powerful foe guards its territory fiercely and can only be defeated by skilled and determined adventurers. Wormface, an optional boss, awaits to be challenged by adventurers seeking a formidable foe. Its lair is located in the western region of Altus Plateau, near the Woodfolk Ruins. Those who manage to defeat it will be rewarded with 10,000 Runes, the elusive Crimsonspill Crystal Tear, and the rare Speckled Hardtear.

Black Knife Assassin

Located at the entrance of the Sainted Hero's Grave, just north of the Stormcaller Church, the Black Knife Assassin is a formidable optional boss. Miranda the Blighted Bloom and Omenkiller can be found lurking inside Perfumer's Grotto, which is located to the east of the Altus Highway Junction bonfire. If you manage to defeat the Omenkillers, you'll be rewarded with a generous amount of 8,400 Runes as well as the prized Great Omenkiller Cleaver.

Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast

If you're looking for a challenging boss fight in Elden Ring, head southwest of the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite bonfire in Mt. Gelmir to face the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast. This mature and larger version of the Fallingstar Beast is not to be underestimated, but defeating it will earn you some valuable rewards. Expect to receive 21,000 Runes, as well as Somber Smithing Stone (6) and five Smithing Stone (6). And if you're lucky, you might even get your hands on the coveted Fallingstar Beast Jaw.

Ulcerated Tree Spirit

Red Wolf Of The Champion

The Champion Red Wolf is a formidable boss located in Gelmir Hero's Grave, which can be found to the southwest of the First Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Lost Grace. Defeating this powerful beast will reward you with a whopping 21,000 Runes and the highly coveted Bloodhound Knight Floh.

The Elden Ring world is filled with the Erdtree Burial Watchdog boss, which can be encountered in almost all of its regions. If you're exploring the Mt. Gelmir area, you can find this boss in the Wyndham Catacombs, which are located to the northwest of the Wyndham Ruins. Upon defeating the boss, you will be rewarded with 12,000 Ruins and the Glovewort Picker's Bell Bearing (1).

Demi-Human Queen Maggie

To encounter the Demi-Human Queen Maggie in Elden Ring, players need to head north of the Hermit Village in Mt. Gelmir. Defeating her rewards players with 13,000 Runes, a Memory Stone that increases Spell Slots, and a Golden Rune (1). So, gear up and get ready to face this formidable opponent.

Tibia Mariner

The Tibia Mariner is found within Wyndham Ruins north of the Erdtree Gazing-Hill bonfire. Upon its defeat, it drops 14,000 Runes, Deathroot, and Tibia's Summons.

Black Knife Assassin And Necromancer Garris

Elden Ring players will encounter two formidable dungeon bosses inside Sage’s Cave, located northeast of the Abandoned Coffin bonfire. These bosses are the Black Knife Assassin and Necromancer Garris. Defeating the Black Knife Assassin will reward players with 9,000 Runes and a Concealing Veil, while defeating Necromancer Garris will yield 9,000 Runes and Family Heads. However, players should be prepared for the Black Knife Assassin's invisibility during the boss fight.

Abductor Virgins Duo

Located deep within the Volcano Manor, there exists a cavern where an optional boss duo, known as the Abductor Virgins, can be found. Defeating both bosses will grant you with a reward of 10,000 Runes and the Inquisitor's Girandole.

Rykard, a Shardbearer residing within Volcano Manor, is known for his two distinct phases: the God-Devouring Serpent and Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. Defeating this demigod can yield valuable rewards such as Rykard's Great Rune, Remembrance of the Blasphemous, and a staggering 130,000 Runes.

Godskin Noble

Players can challenge the Godskin Noble by reaching the Prison Town Church bonfire and activating the shortcut bridge. This formidable boss presents a challenging fight, but those who manage to defeat it will be rewarded with 50,000 Runes, the valuable Serpent's Amnion, and the coveted Godskin Stitcher.

Magma Wyrm

Mt. Gelmir is home to two formidable Magma Wyrm creatures. One of these beasts can be located in the lower region of Volcano Manor and is said to drop a whopping 5,044 Runes along with a Dragon Heart. The other Magma Wyrm is situated south of Fort Laiedd and is known to yield an impressive 19,000 Runes, as well as a Dragon Heart and the highly coveted Magma Breath incantation.
