Street Fighter 6 has recently been released, featuring a total of 18 characters in its first season. For newcomers, it is highly recommended to invest time in the training room to become acquainted with each character's unique fighting style. By doing so, fans can discover the fighter that suits their playstyle and feels most comfortable to them.
Within the moveset of every character lies a crucial element known as Super Arts. These powerful techniques have the potential to swiftly end fights or drastically turn the tables in one's favor. It is essential for players to familiarize themselves with their chosen character's three levels of super arts and understand when to strategically employ them.
In the following guide, you will find a concise explanation of Super Arts, as well as a comprehensive list encompassing each and every one available in Street Fighter 6.
Super Arts Guide
The Super Gauge at the bottom of the screen needs to be filled by players in order to perform Super Arts. Each attack landed on the enemy contributes to filling up the gauge, including blocked attacks which provide a smaller amount of meter gain. The gauge can be filled up to three times and indicates the stored amount with an LV 1, 2, or 3 next to it, determining the level of super that can be used.
To activate supers, specific stick inputs are required. In Classic control mode, supers typically involve double inputs similar to other moves, such as a double quarter circle or a double left-right charge move. However, in Street Fighter 6's modern controls, Supers can be activated with a simple directional input along with the Special Move + Heavy attack buttons. Additionally, some supers can be activated even while in midair after a jump.
If a player has accumulated 3 levels of meter and their health falls below 25%, a Critical Art (CA) will be displayed. This modification transforms the Level 3 super into a more powerful attack that inflicts greater damage. The input and name of the Critical Art will remain the same as the character's Level 3 Super Art.
