The leaked document from the FTC v. Microsoft trial reveals an outdated release schedule that includes several undisclosed games, including Dishonored 3, a sequel to Ghostwire Tokyo, Doom Year Zero, and remasters of Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Shared by Wario64, the document showcases a ZeniMax release schedule featuring both well-known titles like Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6, as well as a few surprises that have yet to be officially announced.
Among the upcoming releases, there is an unannounced game, which is the third installment in the Dishonored series, despite previous reports suggesting that Dishonored 3 was rejected by Bethesda in favor of Deathloop. Additionally, a sequel to Ghostwire: Tokyo is also part of the schedule, indicating that it was approved while the original game was still under development. The list further includes a new Doom title called Year Zero, as well as numerous DLC, suggesting its significance as a major release.
Furthermore, the list reveals plans to remaster two of Bethesda's beloved older RPGs, Fallout 3 and Oblivion, both of which are more than 15 years old.
The release schedule is believed to be pre-COVID-19, with games still aiming for their original release dates, such as Starfield in 2021 and Elder Scrolls 6 in 2024. Most of the unannounced games are scheduled for the financial year 2024, suggesting they won't be seen until 2026 or later. While it's possible that some titles have been silently canceled or postponed, we remain hopeful that they still exist behind the scenes. In addition, leaked documents have unveiled plans for a digital-only Xbox Series X refresh and initial information on a next-gen Xbox.
