In September, the PS Plus lineup bids farewell to several Ubisoft games and well-known indie titles such as Chicory and Nidhogg 2. However, there are still numerous other games available for members to explore.

In September 2023, members in the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus will no longer have access to eight games. Additionally, at the end of August, one more title will be removed. Both Extra and Premium users of PS Plus receive a new selection of games each month, as Sony regularly updates the available catalog for subscribers.

For the month of August 2023, a total of ten games will be removed from PS Plus Extra and Premium, resulting in the loss of access to notable titles such as Borderlands 3, Yakuza 0, The Crew 2, Nidhogg, and more. Unlike the free monthly titles, members will not be able to play these games once they are no longer part of the service. Sony has also provided an updated list of the games that will be leaving PS Plus in September 2023, with one more game scheduled for removal at the end of August.

Deathloop, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2, Death end re;Quest 2, Nidhogg 2, and Through the Darkest of Times will no longer be available for free with your PlayStation Plus subscription. Furthermore, Steep will also be removed from these PS Plus tiers on August 31. In total, nine games will be departing, giving avid gamers an opportunity to enjoy them for just over a month. However, if you're particularly interested in Steep, be sure to play it within the next two weeks before it bids farewell as well. Don't miss out on these thrilling titles while you still have the chance!

This list features primarily Ubisoft games, along with a few noteworthy indie titles such as Chicory and Nidhogg 2. Deathloop joined the PS Plus Extra lineup in September 2022 but will be leaving the service after a year, which isn't surprising considering that Microsoft now owns it.

With several notable games departing PS Plus in September 2023, it will be interesting to see which titles will be added as replacements next month. Meanwhile, PS Plus Extra and Premium members can explore 17 additional games, including Lost Judgment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, Cursed to Golf, and more.

Moving Out 2 and Sea of Stars will be included in the PS Plus Extra and Premium lineup for August 2023 as day one releases. While Moving Out 2 will be available along with the rest of the lineup, PS Plus members will have the opportunity to start playing Sea of Stars on August 29.
