To address certain issues, Diablo 4 recently disabled one of its Legendary Aspects. Offering a range of activities catering to players of various levels of courage, Diablo 4's equipment-hunting feature is a favourite amongst many players. The newest addition to the game, Legendary Aspects, adds a fresh layer of diversity. These unique modifiers can transform Rare items into Legendary ones, and players can access them either through the Codex of Power or by raiding dungeons and battling demons. Regardless of the method chosen, Legendary Aspects play a crucial role in unleashing the full potential of a player's character.
Legendary Aspect Edgemaster's Aspect has been temporarily disabled in Diablo 4 due to related issues, as announced by community manager PezRadar on the official Blizzard forum. Offensive in nature, Edgemaster's Aspect falls under the category of five Legendary Aspects. Equipping an item with this Aspect enhances the damage based on the available Primary Resource at the time of casting. PezRadar did not specify when the Aspect will be re-enabled, but cautioned players that items with this Aspect will still function, albeit without the ability to trigger Edgemaster's Aspect while it remains disabled.
Some players have expressed frustration over the disabling of Edgemaster's Aspect in Diablo 4, citing issues with their builds and a significant loss of offensive power. One player even reported seeing crits of only 30,000 compared to their previous numbers of 100,000-200,000. While the deactivation of Diablo 4's biggest challenge was necessary, it has caused some setbacks in the launch week. Although the Edgemaster's Aspect itself didn't have any bugs, it was designed in a way that allowed Barbarian players to have practically infinite damage with a specific combo. As with many modern games, patches are becoming a common feature and Diablo 4 is no exception. The advantage of modern technology is that adjustments can be made based on community feedback. For players who are affected by the disabling of Edgemaster's Aspect, the best course of action is to wait and try out other builds in the meantime.
Diablo 4 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
