Every Way Daredevil: Born Again's Plans Are Changing
While there is limited information available regarding the extent of the changes in Daredevil: Born Again, the revamp is expected to address certain key aspects in the show's execution. Firstly, one prominent issue with the MCU TV series was that it often strayed from the essence of Netflix's Daredevil, resembling more of a legal procedural. A significant revelation from the report suggests that Matt, the protagonist, will not don his vigilant persona until the fourth episode of Daredevil: Born Again.
The person in charge of Daredevil: Born Again will have to create pilot and show bibles and think of its potential for multiple seasons, instead of treating it like a limited series. The show must also be compared to its predecessor outside the MCU, or else it will appear repetitive and less exciting, adding pressure on the creative team. Currently, there are no known changes to the cast, but that could change in the future.
Although this setback is significant for Daredevil: Born Again, it could be the change it needed, especially if the previous direction was not working in the long run. Considering Daredevil's popularity and success during the Netflix era, it is understandable that Marvel Studios wants to be cautious with his new show. Hopefully, there will be positive updates about Daredevil: Born Again soon.
