Marston Hefner recently shared some concerning thoughts about Crystal Hefner, the wife of his late father Hugh Hefner. He suggested that she may have taken advantage of the Playboy mogul before his passing.
In a recent episode of the “Girls Next Level” podcast with Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt on Monday, May 13, Marston, who is 34 years old, speculated that Crystal, who is 38, could have been aiming to become Hugh's sole romantic partner, calling her a potential "master manipulator."
Marston said that when Crystal entered, tribes began to form. There were individuals who supported Crystal. Crystal and Hugh tied the knot in 2012 and stayed together until Hugh passed away at the age of 91 in 2017 because of sepsis.
After Crystal entered the Playboy Mansion, Marston noticed she became fixated on "the idea of control and power." He mentioned, "She enjoyed being in a position where people had to go through her or ask her for things."
Marston observed that this desire led to Crystal having the ultimate decision on who could enter and leave the mansion.
He mentioned that she enjoyed managing the guest list, adding or removing girls based on her current moods. Marston also shared how long-time guests of 10 or 15 years were unexpectedly removed from the list. He emphasized the importance of not upsetting her to avoid being excluded.

Crystal's alleged gatekeeping seemed to continue even after Hugh's passing. Marston expressed his concern, stating, "I've heard rumors that Crystal may have controlled the guest list for the funeral. I can't confirm if this is true, but whoever was responsible for the guest list, they should be ashamed. There were individuals present that I had never met before in my life."
He mentioned that people were recording them on their iPhones while they were grieving.
Before his father passed away, Marston mentioned that Hugh had become very ill, which caused Crystal to take some actions that were considered questionable.
Marston remembered that his mother signed a lot of NDA agreements because she didn't want others to see Hugh's struggles with walking and talking. He shared that Hugh was dealing with intense back pain and was heavily medicated. Marston likened Hugh's situation to the one between Michael Jackson and Conrad Murray, the doctor convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death.
"He said people couldn't refuse these individuals. They just kept giving him drugs whenever he asked for them. He was so out of it that he didn't even know what was happening."
Marston also claimed that Crystal took advantage of his father's vulnerable mental condition to manipulate his will, so she could inherit more money when he passed away. He raised doubts, asking, "If you truly cared for your spouse, would you allow him to make significant financial decisions while he was not in a right state of mind?"
In Crystal’s new book, Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself, she claimed otherwise, writing that Hugh left her nothing.
But Marston doesn’t buy it.
"He found it strange," he mentioned. "I could easily say, 'Thank you, Hugh Hefner, for assisting me in creating the wonderful life I have.'"

Editor's P/S:
Marston Hefner's accusations against Crystal Hefner raise serious concerns about the circumstances surrounding Hugh Hefner's passing and the subsequent distribution of his wealth. Marston's allegations of Crystal's manipulative behavior, control over access to the mansion, and potential influence over Hugh's will raise questions about the fairness and transparency of the aftermath of Hugh's death.
It is important to note that these accusations remain unproven and that Crystal has denied any wrongdoing. However, Marston's detailed account of events and his concerns about Crystal's actions warrant further investigation. The potential for abuse and exploitation in situations involving individuals with diminished mental capacity underscores the need for careful scrutiny and accountability in such matters.
