Margot Robbie continues to embrace the Barbiecore trend, exhibiting her support with her recent fashion choices. In New York City on Tuesday, November 28, the 33-year-old actress confidently sported a head-to-toe pink outfit, despite the chilly weather.
The outfit approved by Barbie featured a pink cropped leather jacket with a front zipper and puffy long sleeves, along with a matching pink leather miniskirt. Robbie completed the look with a mini embellished pink Versace purse and Versace crystal safety pin slingback pumps. The Australian actress made sure her glam matched Barbie's, with long blonde hair styled down the middle and fresh, dewy, pink makeup reminiscent of the iconic doll.
As they crossed the street, Robbie linked arms with her husband, Tom Ackerly. Ackerly, 33, showcased his cold weather style with a cream roll neck sweater, a mid-length black coat, navy trousers, and black brogues.

Prior to the event, Robbie had channeled the 1964 "Black Magic" Barbie at the 2023 Gotham Awards in New York City. She wore a doll-inspired outfit consisting of a strapless black mid-length Prada dress with a sheer cape tied into a neat bow around her neck. Accessories included black leather gloves, a gold clutch, and open-toed black pumps. Her hair was styled in a '60s high ponytail and she wore oversized pearl earrings to complete the look.
Earlier in November, Robbie attended special Barbie screenings with director Greta Gerwig in Los Angeles, where she continued to embrace the Barbie theme by wearing bright pink outfits. She even recreated the 'Cherry Pie Picnic' outfit from a 2015 Barbie, complete with dark high waisted jeans, a red flower print top, and coordinating red belt, purse, and shoes.

Robbie, despite her obvious affection for her Barbie era, has stated that fans should not expect a sequel to the Barbie movie. In a recent red carpet interview with the Associated Press, the actress expressed her belief that the first movie had everything put into it. She noted that the success of original films at the box office is a significant takeaway for her, emphasizing that a film doesn't necessarily need to be a sequel, prequel, or a remake to achieve huge success. Robbie also debunked the misconception that a film with a female lead cannot appeal to all audiences. She emphasized that it can still resonate with all four quadrants, contrary to the belief held by many people.
