Man City Star Grealish Dishes on Epic Celebrations as He Joins England Squad

Jack Grealish has not expressed any remorse for his extravagant celebrations following an immensely successful season, dismissing any notions of being labeled a "party boy."

The talented English player played a crucial role in Manchester City's remarkable achievement of securing a historic treble, which culminated with a triumph over Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Grealish became the focal point of City's celebrations after the match, engaging in drinks and festivities alongside his teammates. Despite the scrutiny surrounding his actions, he remained committed to his England duty and made a significant contribution by coming off the bench and assisting in a goal during Monday's 7-0 victory against North Macedonia.

"I don't believe it's solely a characteristic of being a party boy," he commented in response to inquiries about the reactions to his enjoyment.

"I would never deceive you by claiming, 'Oh yeah, I don't drink and I never engage in social gatherings,' because I do, but then there are countless individuals who would assert the same while secretly indulging in those activities."

"I am always honest because if you observe me doing something, you might think, 'Wait a minute. He claimed in an interview a few weeks ago that he wouldn't do that'.

"But let me clarify, I simply relish every moment, as I am living my dream of playing for what I believe is the greatest club in the world. We have recently achieved the remarkable treble, so now I will take a well-deserved break with my loved ones and friends. Afterward, I will be eagerly prepared to resume action in four weeks."

"I was fully aware of my actions, as it reflects my personality, especially when I am in a party environment. However, it is important to note that this behavior is not typical of me under normal circumstances. Nevertheless, considering our triumphant achievement of winning the treble, a feat that may never occur again, I decided to celebrate and have a great time. It is worth mentioning that I was not the sole individual indulging in such behavior; in fact, there were numerous instances where others were also captured on camera exhibiting similar antics."

I had an amazing time, and while others had their own enjoyable experiences off-camera, this was my personal way of having a great time. This season has been the most successful one in my life.

In the past, a season used to last for nine months, but I have extended it to a full 12-month period. I have participated in a World Cup, secured three trophies, and now I will soon resume training in just four weeks. So, why not take this opportunity to have some fun and enjoy myself?

Grealish said he had not been spoken to by England manager Gareth Southgate as he met up with the squad and felt he contributed as normal.

"I am often bewildered by the things you all read and presume. Truth be told, my rapport with Southgate is exceptional. It is a truly remarkable connection," Grealish affirmed.

Despite having a feeling that I wouldn't be playing on Friday against Malta, I still arrived at the camp on Tuesday night. Although I was slightly hungover, I was not intoxicated. Alongside my teammates, we rested and then trained on Wednesday. The training sessions continued on Thursday, and deep down, I was aware that I would not be part of the match on Friday.

I am satisfied with my training on Saturday and felt confident in my abilities. As Sunday approached, I anticipated that there would be a competition to determine who would play.

To my delight, I was given the opportunity to come on as a substitute during the match against Macedonia. This moment brings me great joy. This season has been incredibly successful for me, perhaps the most prosperous one in my entire life. I believe it is now the perfect time for me to unwind and enjoy some relaxation.

Sitting in the camp on Thursday, I experienced an overwhelming surge of emotions. It was truly the most intense high I had ever felt in my entire life over the weekend.

As I sat alone in my room, I couldn't help but wonder if I would ever experience such an incredible high again.
