Ludacris is far from excited to encounter Lil Rel Howery's version of Santa Claus in an exclusive preview of Disney+'s holiday movie, Dashing Through the Snow, from We.
The scene unfolds as Eddie Garrick (played by Chris "Ludacris" Bridges) confronts Nick Sinterclaus (Howery) in his own residence. However, Nick is not the intruder Eddie anticipates; he has come solely to deliver Christmas gifts.
Eddie insists, "Hey buddy, you need to halt. As a precaution, I'm going to conduct a quick frisk."
Nick doesn't object, responding casually, "You know what? Go ahead. Feel free to frisk. But be careful, I must warn you—I'm quite ticklish!"
Eddie affectionately checks Nick's crimson attire, causing the mirthful intruder to chuckle. Eddie curiously examines the contents of Nick's pockets.
"These happen to be carrots. They are evidently my nutritious treats," Nick remarks. "According to Mrs. Claus, I must adopt a healthier diet, hence her generous bestowal of carrots. Unfortunately, her plan to steer me away from cookies hasn't yielded the desired outcome thus far."
Eddie says, “This is sad. What’s your name?”

"My name is Nicholas Sinterclaus," he responds, but Nick doesn't receive the desired response from Eddie. "Let me make it simpler for you: Sinter... claus. Sinter... claus."
Finally, it dawns on Eddie. "Ah, like Santa Claus. That's adorable," Eddie remarks impassively.
"Yes! That was incredibly difficult," Nick exclaims.
Eddie, a social worker for the Atlanta police department, is not feeling particularly festive about Santa's visit. Following a distressing childhood incident, Christmas holds little joy for him. Allison Garrick (Teyonah Parris), Eddie's separated wife, requests him to bring his estranged 9-year-old daughter, Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum), to work on Christmas Eve.
Nick is where they first encounter Eddie. Initially, Eddie believes Nick is mentally unstable and requires professional assistance. However, Nick might be exactly what Eddie requires to regain his holiday cheer.
Dashing Through the Snow, directed by Tim Story and written by Scott Rosenberg, features a stellar cast including Oscar Nuñez, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Ravi V. Patel, Gina Brillon, Kevin Connolly, and Zulay Henao. The film premieres on Disney+ on Friday, November 17.

In the holiday film, Ludacris, 46, portrays a character who is estranged from his daughter. However, in reality, the Fast and Furious star is incredibly close to his four daughters – Karma, 22, Cai, 9, Cadence, 7, and Chance, 2. The rapper, speaking exclusively to Us in May, shared that his daughters have him wrapped around their little fingers. Coming home from tours and shows is something he eagerly anticipates, as it means he can hold them in his arms.
Ludacris expressed his concerns about the future when his daughter, Karma, started dating. He revealed that he had been overprotective and had advised her to wait until she turned 18. Now that she is 21, Ludacris mentioned that she hasn't introduced him to any boys yet. He speculated that she might be hiding her relationships well or taking her time to find the right person to bring home to him.
