Love in the Limelight: A Closer Look at the Romances of Jessie James Decker, Taylor Swift, and Travis Kelce

Jessie James Decker expressed her thoughts on the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce - from one NFL WAG to another.

"I'm all for it. It completely makes sense," the country singer, who is married to former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker, excitedly shared on TalkShopLive on Tuesday, October 17. "She should have been dating an athlete a while ago."

When questioned about her rationale for the statement, Jessie, a 35-year-old individual, jokingly replied, "Because it was successful for me!" She chuckled and added, "I absolutely adore it."

The esteemed Kittenish designer, who is presently anticipating her fourth child with Eric, aged 36, assured fans not to fret if Swift, aged 33, is unable to attend each of Kelce's games. (While Swift attended two consecutive Chiefs games in late September and early October, she was noticeably absent when the Chiefs faced the Vikings in Minnesota earlier this month.)

“I couldn’t go to every game,” Jessie said. “Sometimes it was too late or in a different city, so I stayed home in my pajamas and screamed from my couch.”

Since July, there have been rumors of a romantic relationship between Swift and Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs. It all started when Kelce revealed that he tried to give Swift his phone number on a friendship bracelet during one of her Eras Tour shows at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. Although they didn't meet then, Swift took Kelce up on his invitation to see him perform at the stadium. She attended the Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears on September 24th and then cheered on Kelce and the team as they beat the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, a week later.

Despite not being able to meet Kelce on the field in Minnesota, Swift attended her third Chiefs game of the season on October 12. Once again, she traveled to Missouri to show her support for the NFL star in the Chiefs' game against the Denver Broncos. During the game, she had a conversation with Travis' father, Ed Kelce. "If you know Dad like I do," Travis later joked on his and brother Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast. Jason, 35, completed his brother's statement by saying, "He shouldn't be talking to Taylor Swift."

Swift has already bonded with Travis and Jason's mother, Donna Kelce, by attending multiple games together and sharing embraces. As their relationship continues to progress, Swift is becoming more enamored with Travis. According to an insider, Travis is unlike anyone Swift has dated before, as he consistently goes above and beyond to make her feel special.
