Linda Evangelista is content being single and has no intention of sharing her bed with a new romantic partner in the near future. In an interview with The Sunday Times on November 26, the 58-year-old supermodel stated that she has no interest in dating at this stage in her life.
She admitted, "I no longer want to share a bed with anyone. I can't stand the sound of someone breathing." Evangelista, who has a 17-year-old son named Augustin with her ex François-Henri Pinault, shared that her last relationship was before the "brutally disfiguring" CoolSculpting incident. Before Pinault, Evangelista was married to Gérald Marie, the former head of Elite Model Management's Paris office, from 1987 to 1993.
The Super Models star disclosed in September 2021 that she had undergone multiple Coolsculpting procedures from 2015 to 2016 in an attempt to reduce her fat cells. She claimed on social media at the time that the cosmetic procedure had instead increased those cells and left her with permanent deformities.
Following two unsuccessful corrective surgeries, Evangelista filed a lawsuit against the parent company, Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc. In July 2022, she announced on Instagram that she had reached a settlement, but did not provide any further information.
"I'm happy to have resolved the CoolSculpting case," she wrote in an Instagram post. "I'm excited for the next phase of my life with loved ones, and I'm relieved to move on from this. I'm deeply appreciative of the support I've received from those who have reached out."
In addition to the challenges of elective surgery, Evangelista has bravely battled breast cancer twice, first diagnosed in December 2018 and again in July 2022. Evangelista shared with The Sunday Times that she is now looking ahead and her main focus is to "stay alive."
While she is currently soaking up every moment with her son, Augustin, before he goes off to college, Evangelista is planning her own next adventure.
