In a recent interview with TV Insider, ahead of The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 premiere, Garcia-Rulfo offered a glimpse into Mickey's new case. Following a victorious outcome in season 1, Mickey begins this new case full of confidence, but soon encounters a series of unexpected twists and turns. Garcia-Rulfo also discussed Mickey's relationships with the various women in his life, particularly his intense mother Elena, portrayed by Angélica María in season 2. Mexican mothers possess a humorous trait as they tend to treat their adult children like youngsters. This dynamic in their relationship is something that will undoubtedly appeal to people.
What To Expect From The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2's New Case
At the start of season 2, García-Rulfo notes that Mickey is still enjoying the aftermath of his victory in the Trevor Elliot case from season 1, which brings him a lot of newfound fame. Shortly after wrapping up his previous case, Mickey finds himself thrust into a new one involving the high-profile murder of a notorious real estate developer named Mitchell Bondurant. However, things become even more complicated when Mickey meets and forms a romantic relationship with Lisa Trammell, a chef who is accused of the murder.
This is just the beginning of the many twists that viewers can expect in The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, which is based on Michael Connelly's fourth book in the series titled The Fifth Witness.
