The cosmetic items that will be part of a promotional collaboration between Diablo 4 and KFC have been unveiled. While Diablo 4 has not yet officially confirmed the crossover, players can anticipate the opportunity to acquire these transmog items once the promotion commences. A previous leak hinted at another collaboration between Diablo 4 and KFC, and if the leak is accurate, players can look forward to earning five unique in-game rewards during the crossover event, which is reportedly scheduled to run from May 29 to July 2.
According to Reddit user FlamePuppet, the crossover between Diablo 4 and KFC will feature five in-game rewards in the form of cosmetic weapon skins. These items are not just cleverly named with KFC-inspired puns, but also boast gritty, fitting aesthetics that can easily match any outfit in the game's transmog system. With such impressive designs, every class in Diablo 4 can make good use of these five cosmetic weapons.
The upcoming Diablo 4 event features some interestingly themed weapons, including the Vessel of Eleven, a Druid-only offhand totem inspired by KFC's Original Recipe 11 herbs and spices. The Thrumming Axle, a staff resembling KFC's chicken rotisseries, and the Dread Pheasant Slayer, a bow referencing a bird closely-related to the chicken, also make an appearance. Additionally, the Hand of Gallus, a polearm named after the scientific species and genus of chickens, and the Foul Reaper, a two-handed scythe that plays on the word "fowl" while also resembling a chicken tender on a fork, are included. While Blizzard has yet to formally announce the event, leaked evidence suggests it is in the works. Models of the weapons have not yet been seen in the game, and players can expect official confirmation within the next week or so.
Players can easily earn one of the rewards for the rumored Diablo 4 promotion by scanning a QR code found on a special sandwich wrap at KFC during the promotional period. The remaining four rewards can be earned by ordering sandwiches through the KFC mobile app or website. However, the exact details of the promotion have not been officially announced yet, so players will have to wait for confirmation. Diablo 4 is set to release on June 6th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
