In response, Blizzard conducted an emergency Campfire Chat just 24 hours after the patch went live, promising adjustments to many of the updates. While this improved Blizzard's standing with players, there were still complaints about the reduced level scaling in the game, making reaching level 100 a more tedious grind.
However, with the introduction of Season 2, Blizzard aims to fix this issue and make it easier for fans to level up their characters.

Notably, players will now experience increased gains in character experience when killing monsters above level 50. This boost in experience will continue to grow as the player's character levels up, allowing them to reach the level cap of 100 approximately 40% faster than before. In addition, the livestream announced that Incenses in the game will grant players bonus experience, with the added benefit of these effects lasting even after the player's character dies.
Furthermore, the story of Diablo 4 Season of Blood was unveiled, in which players unite to defeat the vampiric Dark Master. They will receive assistance from a vampire hunter named Erys. To aid in their quest, players can acquire Pact Armor, which grants them access to new Vampiric Powers.
Exciting new content awaits players in Season 2, as the game will introduce five new endgame bosses. By defeating these bosses, players will have the opportunity to obtain specific Uniques and Uber Uniques through farming.
Blizzard is enhancing the player experience in Diablo 4 by introducing various updates. Not only will there be increased experience gains, but players will also benefit from the addition of Gems to the materials tab. This addition will greatly alleviate inventory space concerns. Moreover, there are hints of Blizzard unveiling a World Boss timer during an upcoming livestream event scheduled for October 10.
