Lenny Kravitz is still waiting to meet the right woman.
The rocker, who turned 60 on Sunday, May 26, opened up about his love life in an interview with The Guardian published on Thursday, May 30.
Kravitz shared that he has not been in a serious relationship for nine years. He mentioned that he is dedicated to staying celibate until he meets the right partner.
When asked about his decision to remain celibate, Kravitz explained, "Yes, it's a spiritual choice."
Lenny Kravitz, known for his hit song "Fly Away," was married to actress Lisa Bonet from 1987 to 1993. In 2008, he publicly shared that he had chosen to abstain from sex until marriage, revealing that he had not been sexually active for three years.

Zoe Kravitz, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, shared her thoughts with Maxim in 2008. She mentioned that for now, she has made a promise to herself to focus on other qualities in a woman besides just physical appearance. She values intelligence and spirituality just as much. This mindset may surprise some people, but Zoe is determined to prioritize deeper connections when it comes to relationships.
Kravitz mentioned in 2011 to Details magazine that his comments were exaggerated. He also mentioned to the Guardian that he is open to being in a relationship again, but feels quite comfortable with his current lifestyle.
In another part of the interview, the rock musician talked about reaching the age of 60 and how he stays looking good.
"It's hard to believe, even for me. But it's wonderful," he said when Simon Hattenstone expressed disbelief that Kravitz was already 60. "It's a mix of good genes, taking care of myself, working hard, and staying disciplined."
To stay fit, Kravitz, who has a daughter named Zoë Kravitz, 35, with Bonet, avoids junk food and is strict about going to the gym.
He shared, "Last night was a busy one for me. I had interviews all day, rehearsals went late into the night, and I got home at 11 p.m. Feeling the need to eat something, I realized it was already 1 a.m. and I hadn't done my workout yet. Despite not wanting to be at the gym at 2 a.m., I knew I had to, so I went and completed a 90-minute workout."
"It's important to me because it's part of my discipline - it involves my body, mind, and spirit," he explained. "I believe that all three elements need to be in harmony. If my body is healthy but my spirit and mind are not, then it's meaningless to just have a good physique. What's important to me is that all aspects of myself are aligned. I put in the effort to ensure that my body, mind, and spirit are in sync so that I can be the best version of myself."
