Lena Dunham opted for comfort at the 2023 Glamour Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday, October 17th. Following her red carpet appearance at the London event, 37-year-old Dunham decided to forego her high black platform heels. Photographs from the occasion show Dunham inside the venue wearing just socks. Additionally, she was observed leaving the party barefoot.
Dunham paired the footwear with a strapless yellow gold dress, featuring a large black bow at the back. The Girls alum adorned herself with dangling metallic earrings and styled her brown hair in a shaggy but elegant updo, accentuated with face-framing tendrils.
For her glamorous look, U.K. makeup artist Rachel Singer Clark applied a subtle touch. Prior to using Victoria Beckham Beauty makeup, Clark prepared Dunham's skin with skincare products from Augustinus Bader. Using the Satin Kajal Liner, which Clark claimed had excellent staying power, she achieved warm bronze eyes, wispy lashes, rosy cheeks, and a soft pink lip.

In addition to Dunham, the Glamour Women of the Year Awards red carpet was graced by other stars, including Ariana DeBose, America Ferrera, and Halle Bailey. These notable attendees were all recognized and celebrated during the event.
At 23 years old, Bailey appeared like a vibrant bouquet in a velvet mini dress designed by Nicole + Felicia Couture. The dress featured a distinctive floral skirt that stood out. Completing her ensemble were open-toe platform heels, elegant diamond earrings, and a striking red lip, adding an extra touch of boldness to her look.

Ferrera, aged 39, looked elegant in an ivory dress with flowing off-the-shoulder sleeves. She added a contrasting touch with black platform shoes. DeBose, aged 32, on the other hand, made a bold statement in a flattering black dress adorned with sparkly details on the bodice.
Bailey was honored with the Game-Changer of the Year Award for her remarkable portrayal of Disney princess Ariel. Speaking to Glamour, she shared, "Living my life under the constant scrutiny of the spotlight has been a learning experience. However, in this era of social media, we all face similar scrutiny. My sincere advice is to take a break and find inner peace by turning it all off when needed."
Ferrera received the Global Honouree & U.K. Impact Award, while DeBose was honored as the Game-Changing Performer of the Year. Other notable figures on Glamour's list include Millie Bobby Brown, Lily Allen, and Hannah Waddingham.
