Laverne Cox is currently in her "warrior" era.
The 51-year-old actress looked incredibly stylish in a black breastplate at the Mugler fall/winter fashion show in Paris Fashion Week on Sunday, March 3. The plexiglass piece beautifully highlighted her curves and accentuated her hips, complete with an open back. Cox completed her look with sheer black tights, thong underwear, and satin heels.
Cox wowed with a sleek ponytail that reached her waist, adding a touch of glamour to her appearance. She enhanced her look with a bold red lip, lengthy lashes, and eye-catching silver earrings.
In an interview with i-D Magazine, Cox revealed that her outfit was created by Casey Cadwallader, the creative director of Mugler, for the label's spring/summer 2024 collection.
"I was lucky enough to witness the outfit opening the final show. I was so excited that I couldn't help but scream! I instantly fell in love with it and knew I had to make it mine," she shared. "To wear this unique plexiglass piece, we had to do a 3D scan of my body. A resin replica was then created for the fitting, and now I finally have the stunning plexiglass outfit!"
