Lala Kent is unfazed after sparking mixed reactions among Vanderpump Rules fans with the release of the official trailer for season 11 of the Bravo series.
The 33-year-old reality star posted a nude photo of herself from behind on Instagram on Tuesday, December 12, with the caption "Jealous of what? Your ugly leather pants?" in reference to a famous line from a season 11 spat between Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Crystal, 40, expressed her reaction in the comments, saying, "These are much hotter than my pants." Stassi Schroeder, on the other hand, complimented her former Vanderpump Rules costar, saying, "BRB just gonna go make a collage of your naked bod pics as my workout inspo."
Bravo viewers were quick to wonder if Lala's post was a subtle dig at the backlash she faced after the trailer was released. Lala added more fuel to the fire with an Instagram Story post that read, "I am living for the trailer getting everyone all riled up."
During the sneak peek on Monday, December 11, the entire cast of Vanderpump Rules faced the consequences of Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss. Sandoval's infidelity, as well as his breakup with Ariana Madix, made headlines in March after season 10 had finished filming. In the aftermath of the scandal, the cast resumed filming to capture the drama for a new season finale. Although most of the cast returned for season 11, Raquel, 29, announced her departure in August.
In the season 11 trailer, Lala took Ariana's side and got into a heated argument with Sandoval. However, she surprised viewers by questioning the support and opportunities Ariana received after the scandal, saying "I have never experienced someone who gets cheated on and suddenly becomes God!" On her "Give Them Lala" podcast, Lala referred to the trailer as "sensational" and mentioned her assistant Jessica Walter inspiring her to take nude photos during their Hawaii vacation.

"I'm considering posting [the photos]. I've been debating," she revealed during the episode on Wednesday, December 13. "In the past, people were supportive and encouraged me to show off, but now everyone is saying, 'You have a daughter!'"
Prior to sharing the sassy comeback photo, Lala had insisted that she and Ariana were in a good place. Speculation about the true nature of their relationship began after Lala publicly supported Sandoval at BravoCon.
Lala surprised attendees at a Bravo event last month when she spoke up in support of Sandoval, who was being booed by the crowd at a Vanderpump Rules panel. "In a strange way, I don't care if you boo me. ... Despite all the hate towards Tom, he still performed," she said. "Life goes on. ... If I were in his shoes, I'd tell you all to go away."
In an exclusive interview with We at the fan convention, Lala defended her decision to stand up for her costar, saying, "I just felt like enough was enough. It wasn't just for Sandoval specifically. It was more like, we can't keep going like this. We have to move forward at some point. And I didn't think the punishment fit the crime anymore."
Later that month, Lala made it clear that her public support for Sandoval didn't affect her relationship with Ariana.
"I acknowledge what you've been through, so I believe we're in a good place," she commented on Ariana during an Amazon Live stream. "If we ever became enemies, it wouldn't be by choice, and I don't see her choosing that either."
Lala disclosed Ariana’s first response to her joining the panel, stating, “I believe at that moment after I mentioned it, she was probably annoyed with me. But I have really great conversations with Ariana. This season is going to look very different. And I think everyone is very raw and confused.”

According to the beauty mogul, season 11 has the potential to change people’s minds about the drama.
She finished by saying, "There are a few people who still hold firm to their beliefs. But Ariana knows me well, and sometimes I have to remind her that just because I express myself doesn't mean I'm going to invite him to Christmas dinner or check in on him. You are my friend, and I will always be truthful and supportive."
