Lala Kent has spoken out following criticism of her actions on season 11 of Vanderpump Rules.

"Before we end this episode, as many of you are aware, filming for season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has come to a close. It's been a bittersweet experience," shared Lala, 33, at the conclusion of the Wednesday, May 29, episode of her "Give Them Lala" podcast.

Watching the episodes back wasn't easy for the reality star. Lala admitted that reliving the moments was one of the toughest seasons she had experienced. She mentioned that she had stopped discussing the season because seeing comments on social media was affecting her.

Vanderpump Rules came back to Bravo this year, and Lala started discussing the show on her podcast. However, she took a break early in season 11 following the Lake Tahoe trip. During this trip, she chose to release her anger towards Tom Sandoval after his cheating scandal with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

Lala revealed that it was the hurtful comments about her 3-year-old daughter, Ocean, that led her to stop talking about the show.

I was really upset by that, and it made me start feeling resentful towards an audience that I have cherished for a long time. It wasn't because of all of you, I don't want to generalize, but some of you. I actually enjoy hearing your thoughts on the season. What bothered me were the comments about my parenting.

Lala, who is a mother to Ocean with her ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, stood up for her role as a parent.

"I'm very protective of my daughter, Ocean, and our special bond. She holds a sacred place in my heart because of what we went through together when she was just seven months old," she explained. "I don't feature Ocean on the show because both parents need to agree for a child to appear on TV, and the other side wasn't comfortable with it. But I'm okay with keeping this part of my life private and close to my heart."

After Lala saw viewers “coming” for her, she entered a “really, really dark” space.

Lala, who is expecting a second baby via IUI, shared that besides being a mother to Ocean, she also wants to create a safe space in her body for the new baby she is creating. She expressed that everything on the show is fair game, but she believes that her role as a mother should be off-limits. It upsets her when people make comments about something they know nothing about.

Lala's comments came after the Vanderpump Rules reunion wrapped up on May 28. The third installment sparked controversy due to Lala's remarks about Ariana Madix not pulling her weight. Fans were particularly unhappy with Lala and Scheana Shay's behavior, both on and off screen.

Lala admitted to making comments on a podcast in which she acknowledged her tendency to react unkindly and emotionally. She recognized that her impulsive reactions often lead to trouble and force her to apologize more frequently than necessary. These reactions stem from feeling hurt by things she sees or hears, prompting her to respond harshly.

Following a recent incident where she referred to fans as "rabid" during a podcast discussion, Lala decided to issue an apology for her choice of words.

In my eight years of doing the show, there was a season where my reality and show reality couldn't coexist. They had to be completely separate to avoid any conflicts that could take me out of the moment. Right now, I want to focus on the facts of things because my feelings are not always based on facts. One thing that is certain is that this show is all about perspective. The cast and the audience will each have their own perspective.

Lala is starting to realize that the cast and fans may not always see things the same way when it comes to what happened on the show. Even if there are disagreements with the audience, Lala recognizes that her fans are the ones who have contributed to her success.

Having opinions from both the cast and the audience has been crucial in making Vanderpump Rules a successful show for the past 11 years. It's a combination of these two elements that has contributed to the show's longevity. I am incredibly grateful for this show and want you all to know that.

The podcast host got emotional while issuing a thank you to the passionate viewers.

I am incredibly grateful for this show. It has allowed me to live a life that I used to only dream about while sitting at home in Utah. I truly enjoy creating this show and the opportunities that have come along with it. I understand that the show has opened doors for me, but it is also because of you all watching and caring about the show that I am able to provide a wonderful life for myself and my family.

Lala mentioned that feeling "hurt" at times led to her making negative comments.

Thank you all for being amazing fans of Vanderpump Rules for the past eight years. Even though we may not have always seen things the same way this season, I truly hope you enjoyed season 11. Your support means a lot to me.

I've been in my own world lately, but I want to address the questions you've had all season. I know some things may not have made sense, and there's a good reason for that. I hear you and I appreciate your feedback.

Once again, thank you for your love and support. If I've ever unintentionally hurt your feelings during this podcast, I apologize. You guys mean the world to me.
