In a recent podcast episode, Lala Kent addressed some challenging questions from fans, including one about her storyline during season 11 of Vanderpump Rules.

Lala, 33, shared on her "Give Them Lala" podcast that season 11 was particularly tough for the cast. She mentioned that it was difficult for any of them to have a storyline because they were all focused on discussing Scandoval. This issue not only caused tension within the group but also affected their dynamic as a whole.

As a consequence of Tom Sandoval's well-known affair with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss, all Vanderpump Rules cast members were affected.

"I'm not sure how to respond to that question because many of us attempted to move on from discussing this, but we just couldn't," Lala said. "We couldn't."

Vanderpump Rules recently showed Lala's journey to have a second baby. Lala is currently pregnant via IUI after having her daughter Ocean in 2021 with her now-ex-fiancé Randall Emmett. Lala shared her search for a sperm donor during season 11.

Reflecting on her life at the time, Lala expressed her desire to have a baby. She was focused on healing and facing her reality, trying to release a lot of anger. Lala mentioned that she was open to discussing any topic and was willing to share her experiences.

Sandoval's cheating scandal and breakup with Ariana Madix took center stage despite everyone's efforts.

Lisa Vanderpump expressed her disappointment, stating, "Unfortunately, Tom Sandoval's actions affected the group dynamic. We had to address it on the show as we film our lives. Moving on was difficult, but we tried our best to navigate through it."

Vanderpump Rules season 11 had its ups and downs, but it was the finale and reunion that really got fans talking. Viewers were not happy when Lala broke the fourth wall in the May finale to throw shade at Ariana for not filming with Sandoval.

Lala later apologized for her reaction to fan criticism and praised her costars for their dedication and hard work.

Combining the two can be really tough, especially when something as traumatic as Sandoval happens in a group of people who have known each other for over a decade and have been filming a show for 11 years. It was difficult, but we managed to pull it off with 18 episodes, which still amazes me.

In an earlier part of the episode, Lala reiterated her criticism of how Ariana approached filming.

Lala expressed her admiration for Ariana's talent, stating that she finds her extremely talented. She acknowledged the challenges faced during the filming of a television show that they have both been a part of for several years. Lala mentioned that this year was particularly difficult due to unforeseen circumstances.

She clarified that she understood Ariana's struggles throughout the season and empathized with her. Lala emphasized that she did not intend to pressure Ariana or rush her during the filming process. She simply asked questions that she thought the audience would be interested in, as they were all navigating unfamiliar territory. Lala wanted to make it clear that her intentions were not to push Ariana along in the process.

Lala explained that she was happy for her friend's success and the opportunities she received. She had no hard feelings about the love she received from others. However, she admitted that filming a show with her friend this year was extremely difficult.

Scheana Shay also revealed some behind-the-scenes challenges. She shared that the cast felt pressured to talk to Sandoval, despite their personal issues with him.

During a recent episode of her podcast "Scheananigans," Scheana revealed that there was a period where everyone felt like they had to be careful with their actions. The executive producer, Alex Baskin, mentioned that the show was not doing well midway through the season. There was a sense of urgency to make certain changes or risk having a shorter season or even cancellation. Scheana expressed how she and Lala felt immense pressure to prevent the show from being axed.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 is currently streaming on Peacock.
