Kyra Sedgwick had an unexpected experience with her taste buds when she accidentally used hand cream instead of toothpaste while brushing her teeth. The 58-year-old actress realized her mistake during her morning routine and shared the mishap on Instagram alongside a selfie holding the black tube of the product. Her followers responded with humorous comments to the "nasty" incident.
"In the comments section, one fan expressed relief that it wasn't tretinoin, an acne medication. Another fan shared a similar mishap with mouthwash and liquid cleanser. A third social media user remembered mistaking hairspray for deodorant. It seems Sedgwick's beauty fail occurred while on set, as seen in the photo with a rack of clothes behind her. She had her hair pinned back with clips and wore wispy lashes, blush, and a pink lip."

Sedgwick is currently featured in the popular series The Summer I Turned Pretty as Aunt Julia, a character introduced in season 2. In a recent interview with The Wrap, Sedgwick expressed her thoughts on the role, stating, “It was fulfilling to portray someone who enters and brings about change. Playing such a pivotal character is truly fulfilling. Without her, the storyline for this season wouldn't exist. I believe she makes a formidable antagonist, as she is firmly rooted in her beliefs.”
Sedgwick kept talking, "She has a unique experience in that house, and I believe that, to some extent, there's a way for everyone to come to terms with the fact that, like, it wasn't all perfect with Susannah."
