Kristen Doute has been busy filming season 11 of Vanderpump Rules — and she revived a very special outfit for the occasion.
The 40-year-old reality star was seen wearing her renowned green dress as she conversed with Peter Madrigal outside SUR earlier this week. Kristen confirmed in an Instagram post on Wednesday, July 12, stating, "Yes, it's that dress."
Kristen's former Pump Rules co-star, Stassi Schroeder, commented, "Omg. Green dress. Iconic." Peter, 39, humorously added a series of laughing-crying emojis and wrote, "Hilarious." Meanwhile, fellow Bravo star Lindsay Hubbard suggested that Kristen gift the dress to Andy Cohen so he can showcase it in the Bravo Clubhouse.
Pump Rules fans are no strangers to this vibrant green mini dress featuring a daring deep-V neckline. It became particularly iconic when Kristen donned it in season 3 while making a visit to Tom Sandoval's house, six months after their split. Their on-again, off-again romance spanned from 2007 to 2013.
In a confessional interview, Sandoval, 41, commented on Kristen's actions, stating that she was engaging in a stereotypical behavior of trying to look good in front of her ex. However, he added that her intentions were transparent, referring to the revealing green dress.
Sandoval and Kristen engaged in a heated debate regarding whether or not Sandoval had been unfaithful to Kristen with Ariana Madix, whom he began seeing shortly after their separation. In March, our confirmation came that Sandoval, 38, and Ariana decided to end their relationship after it was revealed that Sandoval had been involved in a romantic affair with their co-star Raquel Leviss. Although Kristen departed from Pump Rules following season 8, she made a brief appearance in the season 10 finale, where she conversed with Ariana about Sandoval's infidelity.
Kristen elaborated in a March interview with Nick Viall on his podcast "The Viall Files," stating, "I recorded that scene at Ariana's request. She specifically asked me, 'I really need you to do this for me.' I was hesitant, as I had no personal benefit from it. In fact, I knew it might make me appear opportunistic or desperate. I made it clear to her that my involvement had nothing to do with the network, the production, or the ratings. I asked her, 'What do you need?'"
Lala Kent recently speculated that if Kristen and Jax Taylor had still been on the show at the time, they would have discovered Sandoval's affair earlier.
"Kristen would have been a master at hacking their phones," Lala, aged 32, playfully remarked in a June episode of Jax and Brittany Cartwright's "When Reality Hits With Jax & Brittany" podcast. "It's funny to think that Jax and I, for once, would have been an unstoppable duo, like Bonnie and Clyde. Brittany, on the other hand, would have been the voice of reason, urging us to calm down. But we would have defiantly responded, 'We ride at dawn, no matter what!'"
