Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have not finalized a name choice for their baby boy.
A source exclusively tells We that they have multiple names to choose from but want to wait until they meet the baby. A second insider reveals to Us that the name Rocky is being considered after speculation arose at Kardashian's baby shower.
During the Sunday, September 24 bash, Kardashian, 44, uploaded and quickly deleted a photo of a Disneyland-inspired Wishing Tree. The tree allowed guests to leave messages for the baby. The picture showed a stationary that read, "May Baby Rocky have a life filled with love."
Barker, 47, has been advocating for the name Rocky since July. He mentioned liking the name Rocky 13 during an episode of Complex's Goat Talk while talking to his daughter Alabama. Barker stated, "Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies and 13 is just the greatest number of all time."
Barker's 17-year-old daughter, whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, immediately rejected her dad's choice. Alabama sarcastically commented, "So you want to name your child Rocky 13? Let's see how well that goes when he's in school and people start shouting, 'Rocky!'" She deemed it a poor choice. Kardashian and Barker, who got married in May 2022, revealed during a Blink-182 concert in June that they are expecting their first child together following previous struggles with IVF.
During Kardashian's pregnancy, she had to undergo a "critical fetal surgery" due to an unforeseen complication.
"I will be forever thankful to my amazing doctors for saving our baby's life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who hurried back from his tour to be by my side in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock," she wrote on Instagram recently, acknowledging Barker's decision to pause his European tour commitments for her. "And to my mom [Kris Jenner], thank you for being there for me every step of the way."

Without disclosing any details, neither Kardashian nor Barker discussed the incident. However, according to a reliable source, it was a "terrifying medical situation." The source further shared that Kardashian is now grateful to have overcome it and relieved that it is in the past. Barker has returned to his tour as Kourtney's health has significantly improved, and both of them are immensely grateful that this ordeal is now behind them.
