Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker are enlisting the help of their kids to pick out a baby name.
The couple, who recently announced on Instagram that they are expecting a baby boy, are getting their children's input in coming up with potential names for the baby, according to an exclusive source. Kardashian, aged 44, is the mother of Mason, 13, Reign, 8, and Penelope, 11, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Barker, aged 47, has a son named Landon, 19, and a daughter named Alabama, 17, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler. He also acts as a father figure to Moakler's daughter with ex Oscar De La Hoya, Atiana De La Hoya, aged 24. The source revealed that Kardashian and Barker involve their children in the pregnancy journey whenever possible, as the new addition to their blended family is a cause for celebration for everyone involved.
During the July 19 episode of Complex's Goat Talk, Barker was already given baby naming advice from Alabama. When the Blink-182 drummer mentioned that "Rocky 13" had been on his mind as a potential name, the teenager quickly dismissed the idea. Alabama humorously pointed out the possible challenges that their child may face, such as being called "Rocky" at school. Alabama then playfully suggested alternative names like Piteck, Milan, and Audomar, jokingly claiming that their suggestions were superior.
Barker and his daughter both agreed, sharing a laugh as he remarked, "It's not good."
According to a source, the musician was merely joking about considering the unconventional name. "Travis and Kourtney haven't made a final decision on a name, but they're thoroughly enjoying brainstorming different ideas," the insider revealed.
The news of their pregnancy was joyfully announced by the couple during a Blink-182 concert last month. Kardashian, while dancing in the midst of the energetic crowd with Penelope, held up a charming handwritten sign that had the words, "Travis, I'm pregnant," paying homage to the band's famous music video for "All the Small Things." Barker and the Lemme founder then took to Instagram to share the unforgettable moment, releasing footage of the iconic announcement.

Before revealing the major announcement, the couple, who got married in May 2022, openly discussed their experiences with IVF and the difficulties they faced in trying to conceive. In April, the Kardashians star candidly spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the emotional challenges they encountered while attempting to get pregnant.
"It's a wonderful experience that we deeply desire, but the process has proved to be difficult for any woman who has gone through it," she expressed during that time.
As Kardashian and Barker are now officially growing their family, according to a source, they are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their child together.
The informant further added that Kourtney and Travis feel incredibly grateful. Despite Travis having numerous international tour dates scheduled, he has managed to be present and provide unwavering support to Kourtney during her pregnancy.
