Kid Rock is currently in the news for his recent interview antics. In a conversation with Rolling Stone, the country singer, also known as Robert James Ritchie, reportedly surprised everyone by brandishing a handgun during the interview.

Ritchie has switched his white wine for Jim Beam and Diet Coke. He quickly drinks at least three or four of them in a row. Sitting in a dark leather chair, he passionately talks to me about something. Suddenly, he grabs a black handgun from behind the seat and waves it around to emphasize his point.

During the surprising incident, Peisner shared what the musician revealed. "I have a gun right here if I ever need it!" Kid Rock, who is 53 years old, exclaimed during the interview. "I have them all over the place!"

Rolling Stone had a chat with Kid Rock at his Nashville home. Before that, the magazine tagged along as the “Cowboy” singer made an appearance on a Fox News interview with Laura Ingraham.

Even though the magazine mentioned they had gone over their scheduled time with the singer, Kid Rock was only just getting started.

"According to Peisner's article, he mentioned that things are currently friendly between them. He shared that until recently, he had not done many interviews in the last ten years."

Kid Rock took some time before his Rock the Country festivals to share why fans might not see him in mainstream media often. One reason is that he feels he doesn't need extra press coverage.

Kid Rock explained, "I don't sugarcoat things, but lately it feels like everything is a trap." He added, "That's why I've been declining your offers for a while. I'm happy in my own little bubble."

Towards the end of the interview, Peisner claimed that Kid Rock made it difficult to wrap up. He stated that the musician wanted to share YouTube videos and ended up playing them for almost half an hour.

Before saying goodbye, the reporter recalled something Kid Rock mentioned. He asked, "Can you do me a favor? Write a really bad article about me. It actually helps me."

Kid Rock also said, "Could you also mention that I was kind of cool?"
