Khloé Kardashian is willing to mend her relationship with Kris Jenner, but not without a hint of sarcasm.
In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kris, who is 68, extended an invitation to her 39-year-old daughter Khloé for one of her upcoming events, following a recent disagreement between the two.
Khloé is upset with me because I haven't been giving her enough attention. She believes that I have the ability to be in four places at once," the momager shared with Kathy Hilton and Paris Hilton, who were present at the product launch to show their support for Kris.
Kris provided an update on her current relationship with Khloé, stating in a confessional, "I have extended an invitation to Khloé, but I'm uncertain if she will accept after our previous conversation."
The co-founder of The Good American pleasantly surprised her mother by appearing unexpectedly.
"Although our issues haven't been resolved, I am here to show my support for her. Despite our temporary disagreement, she will always be my mom and I will always stand by her," Khloé stated. "Therefore, I am able to set aside our differences and be present for this momentous and positive event in her life. We will eventually reconcile our differences, it's just a matter of time."
Kris became emotional as soon as Khloé entered the room, expressing, "She's here. I'm overjoyed. She has brought immense happiness to her mother."
Following her toast during the gathering, Kris made an effort to address the recent conflicts and misunderstandings with Khloé.
"I detest it when you're irritable with me because it disrupts my sleep at night. It genuinely upsets me," she confessed. "Nevertheless, I am relieved that you made an appearance today as I was uncertain whether you would show up or not."
In response, Khloé emphasized her consistent preference for her family over conflicts. "Regardless of our struggles, it doesn't matter to me. I will always choose what is morally right," she expressed. "Take a moment to observe that none of your other children are present, but I am here, enduring the most mistreatment from you."
Kris was taken aback by Khloé's use of the term "mistreat" and promptly changed the topic. Both of them acknowledged the necessity of having a more extensive discussion to address the reasons behind their conflict.
"It's clear that this dinner alone won't resolve the issues between my mom and me, and we really need to have a proper conversation," Khloé asserted. "I don't want to hold any ill feelings towards her, and I don't want our relationship to be in this strained state."
At the beginning of this season, the duo had a disagreement after Khloé expressed her frustrations to Kris regarding her shortcomings as a manager.
"I can't take on additional responsibilities, like starting something completely new, because I don't have a team to rely on. I don't have a management team. You're only present until the contract is signed, and then you disappear until you're ready to bring me the next contract," Khloé stated in a November episode. "I don't have someone in the middle who I can turn to for help. You have no idea how little sleep I get and how I'm unable to focus on the tasks I should be completing because I'm constantly fixing mistakes."
Kris deflected the argument by suggesting that Khloé was failing to see the larger perspective. She added that although Khloé approached business situations with a different mindset, they could still come to a resolution.
"You seem to have a different viewpoint," Kris stated. "I don't want to exacerbate the situation. I want your concerns to be addressed properly. Please relax, Khloé. Your distress is leading to the escalation of other issues, and it's not good for your well-being."
New episodes of The Kardashians air on Hulu every Thursday.
