The official team behind the My Home Hero live action film revealed a new trailer and key visual on January 10, 2024, in anticipation of the film's release on March 8, 2024. The latest clip features the movie's theme song and introduces additional cast members, including Kenjiro Tsuda, renowned for his role as the voice actor for Kento Nanami in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Based on the eponymous manga series by author Naoki Yamakawa and illustrator Masashi Asaki, My Home Hero has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine since 2017. As of now, 22 tankobon volumes have been published.
Kenjiro Tsuda stars as Kanji Shino in My Home Hero live action film
On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) handle of the My Home Hero live action film released a new trailer, introducing additional cast members. The trailer also features a preview of the theme song, Insomnia, performed by Eve. As previously announced, the movie is set to premiere in Japan on March 8, 2024.
Among the newly revealed cast members is Kenjiro Tsuda, known for his work voicing characters such as Kento Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen, Kishibe from Chainsaw Man, Tatsu from The Way of the Househusband, and more. Tsuda-san portrays the character of Kanji Shino, the leader of a criminal organization, in the film.

He has also expressed his perspective on portraying the character Kanji on the official website of the My Home Hero live-action film, stating the following (when translated into English):
The offer for this job made me really happy. I was familiar with the name 'My Home Hero' and its great reputation, but when I found out it was for the final boss, I was shocked. I knew it was an important role and I felt grateful and excited.
In addition, the new cast members include Ryubi Miyase as Hayato Osawa, Danshun Takekawa as Koji Yasumoto, Toshiyuki Itakura as Toshima, Shunsuke Daito as Yakushiji, Sho Nishigaki as Enoki, and Shunya Kaneko as Minamida.

The latest trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse into the film's plot, accompanied by the theme song "Insomnia" by Eve. The brief clip showcases Tetsuo (Kuranosuke Sasaki), his daughter Reika Tosu (Asuka Saito), and other key characters.
In addition to the trailer, the official staff has released a new key visual featuring Tetsuo Tosu, his wife and daughter, and the members of the criminal organization, including Kanji Shino, Nobuto, and others.

The visual features Kuranosuke Sasaki, who plays the role of Tetsuo in the film, set against a striking red backdrop. In addition, the movie's title and release date are prominently displayed in the visual.

As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the upcoming live-action adaptation of My Home Hero. The manga series has been a favorite of mine for years, and I can't wait to see it come to life on the big screen. The trailer looks amazing, and I'm especially excited to see Kenjiro Tsuda join the cast as Kanji Shino. Tsuda-san is an incredibly talented voice actor, and I know he'll bring the character to life in a truly memorable way.
I'm also impressed by the rest of the cast, which includes some of my favorite Japanese actors.
