Kelly Clarkson's Wardrobe Malfunction Revealed: Pant-Ripping Mishap on 'Since U Been Gone' Music Video Set

Even Kelly Clarkson is not exempted from experiencing an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction. On Tuesday, October 31, during outtakes for The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 41-year-old host shared a humiliating incident from her past with guest Kyle Richards.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Richards, age 54, appeared in a Halloween outfit consisting of a fitted black leather catsuit, black heeled boots, a black cat ear headband, and a faux cat tail. Speaking to Clarkson and the audience, she humorously stated that she felt like she was wearing one giant Spanx from her ankles to her neck. She added that she hadn't even sat down in the catsuit until she arrived at the event, so if anyone heard a loud noise, it would be because of that.
Clarkson then shared her own experience, mentioning that something similar had happened to her on a music video set. The singer herself was dressed as a gothic vampire, wearing a long black dress, a choker, faux fangs, and fake blood that was applied under her eyes.
Clarkson disclosed that the cringe-worthy incident occurred during the filming of "Since U Been Gone" when the director instructed her to crouch down and swiftly rise back up.

In the 'Since U Been Gone' video, I was wearing extremely tight leather pants. As I went down, there was a sudden splitting sound, and I raised my hand to demonstrate. "I was going commando," I laughed, while the audience joined in.
"Did we capture that on tape?" Richards teased. I also mentioned that, after my pants split, I turned to the drummer and apologized, saying, "That's quite a lot of moon." This caused even more laughter from the talk show audience.
Despite her nervousness about her catsuit potentially ripping, Richards fearlessly pushed the boundaries in front of Clarkson and the audience. In a second clip shared on the show's TikTok page, Clarkson asked Richards if she had a Halloween party trick.
"Well, I used to do it with a margarita, but since I don't drink anymore, let's see," Richards replied before flawlessly executing a full split on the floor.
Clarkson exclaimed in disbelief as she watched Richards demonstrate her impressive flexibility. The audience erupted with cheers and applause as the star of Halloween Ends effortlessly raised one leg and gracefully lifted herself off the ground, all while gracefully taking a bow and waving.
