The Kelly Clarkson Show is set to return this month, and the host is filled with positivity.

With a joyous teaser released on Wednesday, October 4, Clarkson, who is 41 years old, announced the comeback of her self-titled daytime show by singing James Brown's 1965 classic "I Got You (Feels Good)."

The winner of American Idol season 1 introduced her show in 2019 in Los Angeles. However, for season 5, she is relocating the production to Rockefeller Center in The Big Apple, with the premiere scheduled for Monday, October 16.

In a statement on Wednesday, Clarkson expressed her enthusiasm for beginning the fifth season at the renowned 30 Rock. She mentioned that filming in New York City brings a distinct energy and creative vibe. She concluded her statement by asking, "Are you all ready?"

The talk show will be filmed in Studio 6A, which was previously the home of Late Night with David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, and Jimmy Fallon. Clarkson confirmed the relocation to New York City in May.

"In January, I had a heartfelt conversation with my crew. I was in tears because I have assembled such an incredible group of people. We have been extremely successful, and I have deep love and respect for everyone I work with. I felt it was necessary to inform them about what was happening. It was either the show couldn't continue or I had to move to the East Coast. My family is based in North Carolina, so it was a decision I had to make. Additionally, there were personal reasons behind the move. My children and I needed a fresh start, and Los Angeles couldn't provide that for us."

Performing in the studio with her house band, named Y’All, the five-time Emmy winner channels the Godfather of Soul in the trailer. Scenes from NYC, including Manhattan’s skyline and the Statue of Liberty, are showcased, confirming the theme of the season as "It's time to feel good."

Following suit, The Kelly Clarkson Show is the latest daytime talk program to announce its return. September marked the debut of the new season of Sherri, while The Jennifer Hudson Show made its return on October 2. Additionally, The Talk is set to be back on October 9. Coinciding with these returns, The Drew Barrymore Show will also make its comeback for season 4 on the same day as Clarkson.

The Kelly Clarkson Show debuted on September 9, 2019 and has received thirteen Daytime Emmy Awards, including the prestigious Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment. Kelly Clarkson herself has been recognized as the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host for three consecutive years in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Additionally, she has been nominated for both Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host in 2023.

Originally slated for June 16, the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards had to be postponed due to the ongoing writers strike. A new date for the awards ceremony has not yet been announced.

In addition, Clarkson is commemorating her two-decade milestone as a recording artist, boasting a remarkable record of selling over 25 million albums and 45 million singles across the globe.

On June 23, the acclaimed singer and TV personality released her tenth studio album, Chemistry, which features notable collaborations with Steve Martin and Sheila E. Adding to the excitement, Clarkson delighted fans on September 22 with the release of a deluxe version of the album. This special edition includes a bonus track titled "You Don't Make Me Cry." What makes this song even more extraordinary is the surprise appearance of her daughter, River Rose, who lent her background vocals to the track at the young age of 5, now being 9 years old.
