Kellie Pickler sold her Nashville home that she shared with her late husband, Kyle Jacobs, just six months after listing it for sale. Pickler, who is 37 years old, finalized the sale on May 15th, according to property records obtained by TMZ. The country singer sold the four-bedroom, five-bathroom house for $2.3 million.

The former American Idol contestant first put her house on the market in November 2023 for $2.89 million. After reducing the price to $2.6 million in March, she recently sold the property.

The stunning home boasts a two-story fireplace in the great room, a wine cellar, laundry facilities on both floors, a screened-in porch, a terraced backyard, and a swimming pool. Pickler bought the residence in 2010 for $1.435 million.

Pickler used to live with Jacobs in the same house. Unfortunately, Jacobs passed away by suicide in February 2023 at the age of 49. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department confirmed that they received a 911 call from Pickler’s residence.

According to the department's statement, officers and Nashville Fire Department personnel responded to the call. They found Kyle Jacobs, aged 49, deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in an upstairs bedroom/office. Kellie Pickler, Mr. Jacobs’ wife, mentioned that she woke up and couldn't find her husband. She and her personal assistant tried to open the door to the upstairs bedroom/office but failed, leading the assistant to call 911.

Three months later, it was officially determined by the Davidson Country Medical Examiner that Jacobs had died by suicide. A toxicology report also revealed that there were no drugs found in his system.

In August 2023, Pickler finally spoke out about her husband's passing. She shared, "One of the most valuable lessons my husband taught me was during times of crisis, when you're unsure of what to do, 'Just be still.' I have decided to follow his advice." Pickler expressed her gratitude to her loved ones and supporters for their overwhelming support during this difficult time. She mentioned, "The letters, calls, and messages I've received have touched my heart and are helping me through this dark period. I appreciate all the prayers and kind words that have been sent my way."

Jacobs and Pickler first met in 2008 through mutual friends. In June 2010, the couple announced their engagement. Pickler’s representative confirmed the news, stating, “It’s true! She’s super excited!”

Recently, Pickler made a return to the stage for the first time since Jacobs passed away. Addressing the crowd at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, she said, “How we doin’ tonight, y’all? I’d be lying if I didn’t say I’m incredibly nervous right now. It’s been the first time I’ve been up on stage in a while.”

She performed her song "The Woman I Am," which she wrote with Jacobs. She shared, "My husband and I wrote this song together more than ten years ago. The last time I was at the Ryman Auditorium was with him on a date night, and I feel his presence here with us tonight."
