Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant Embrace Their 'Soulmate' Status After Years Together (Exclusive)

Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant are doing well in their relationship, even though they prefer to keep it private.

According to a source in the latest issue of We magazine, Reeves and Grant consider themselves soulmates.

The couple likes to keep their relationship private, according to someone close to them.

"They are naturally reserved, so there isn't any drama or jealousy between them," the insider explains. "Alexander values Keanu for being a true gentleman who supports her interests, and Keanu describes her as one of the most caring individuals he has ever known."

Reeves, who is 59 years old, and Grant, who is 54 years old, first crossed paths at a dinner party back in 2009. Following their initial meeting, they worked together on Reeves’ books Ode to Happiness and Shadows, and later co-founded their own publishing venture, X Artists Books.

In 2020, Grant shared with British Vogue that Ode to Happiness was actually a surprise gift she had created for Keanu. The book was initially intended as a private gesture, but after their friends encouraged them to publish it, they decided to venture into the world of publishing together.

Reeves and Grant decided to take their friendship to the next level and made their relationship public in November 2019. According to a second source, the couple had been dating for years and it was no secret.

Grant recently offered insight into her romance with Reeves when she discussed their joint interest in art.

Grant shared with People in September 2023 that his work involves interpreting text into paintings or objects in the studio, making it a private performance before showcasing it publicly. He emphasized the relationship between the text and the final outcome, highlighting the shared passion for people and characters between him and his collaborator.

According to an insider who spoke to Us last year, Reeves and Grant are known to be "typically homebodies" who enjoy quiet nights alone or small gatherings with close friends.

"They are doing really well together, very happy," a source revealed in November 2023. The insider also mentioned that they are a great match as they are both naturally relaxed and casual.

Recently, Reeves and Grant attended the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Gala in Los Angeles, where they made a rare appearance on the red carpet. The couple even shared a sweet kiss after posing for photos at the event.
