Jo Wenberg recently mentioned that she doesn't talk to Tom Schwartz anymore following their breakup on Vanderpump Rules. Now, Katie Maloney, Schwartz's ex-wife, is showing her support for Wenberg.
In an exclusive interview with We, Maloney, 37, shared that she empathized with Wenberg as her relationship with Schwartz, 41, fell apart on season 11 of the popular Bravo show.
During an interview with Scheana Shay, Maloney expressed that they were unaware of the true situation between Schwartz and Wenberg. Tom did not provide much information, leaving them in the dark about what was really going on. They were promoting their partnership with Chili's Bar & Grill at the time.
In March 2022, Schwartz and Maloney announced their split. Shortly after, in December, rumors began circulating about Schwartz and Wenberg being together. By February 2023, Schwartz confirmed that he and Wenberg were living together. However, he denied any romantic involvement between them.
Maloney discovered that Tom and Jo were living together when she found some of Jo's things at Tom's house.
Maloney reflected on their relationship dynamics and how they interacted. She gained a new perspective from Jo's point of view, which was quite enlightening for her. Maloney sympathized with Jo as she felt that Tom was not being straightforward with her and was not fully committed. It made her feel sad knowing that Jo had genuine feelings for Tom and had invested in their relationship.
“I think I told him it was a bit of a F-Boy behavior,” she concluded.

Wenberg detailed that behavior on the Thursday, April 11, episode of Rachel “Raquel” Leviss’ “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast.
Wenberg revealed that he would invent stories about both of them seeing other people, even though she was not dating anyone else.
Shay, 38, mentioned during a conversation with Us, that she heard conflicting reports about the relationship between Schwartz and Wenberg while with Maloney.
She mentioned that she had been hearing conflicting information from a mutual friend about the things Schwartz was saying to Jo. This made her question both of them because their stories did not match up.
Just like Maloney, she felt sorry for Wenberg as she watched everything unfold on television.
She shared that watching it play out, having her at the reunion, and hearing a little more of her perspective made her feel for her. Maloney also mentioned that she is not bothered by the fact that Schwartz now has another girlfriend, Sophia Skoro.
She expressed her desire for him to be with someone who brings him happiness, is good for him, and has a positive impact on his life.
To escape from the drama of Vanderpump Rules, Shay and Maloney unwind by enjoying a cocktail, such as the Chili’s Espresso Martini. Maloney mentioned that the new recipe includes a twist she loves - swapping out the usual vodka for tequila.
Maloney shared her excitement about the new Chili’s menu item, expressing her preference for tequila over vodka. She explained, “I have been swapping out vodka for tequila with everything, so it just makes sense. I think just the flavor is so good.” Maloney, a self-proclaimed Reposado girl, praised the smoothness of tequila, highlighting the natural agave flavors that shine through in the cocktail.
The Chili’s Espresso Martini will be available for order starting Monday, April 15.

Editor's P/S:
Katie Maloney's support for Jo Wenberg is both understandable and commendable. Having endured her own marital struggles with Schwartz, Maloney can relate to Wenberg's pain and frustration, particularly in the wake of Schwartz's evasiveness and alleged emotional manipulation. Maloney's empathy and compassion are a testament to her character.
The article also sheds light on the complex dynamics surrounding Schwartz's relationship with Wenberg. Schwartz's alleged fabrications and inconsistencies have cast a shadow over his actions, raising questions about his sincerity and commitment. Wenberg's decision to speak out on Leviss' podcast further exposes Schwartz's behavior, demonstrating a lack of transparency and respect for Wenberg's feelings. Maloney and Shay's skepticism and sympathy towards Wenberg suggest that Schwartz's actions may not have been as innocent as he portrayed.
