Since then, Griffin has been facing difficulties in serving Bick with the divorce papers officially. Despite her efforts, she has been unable to locate him for the legal process, as stated in court documents obtained by We.
After hiring a private investigator to find Bick, the two-time Emmy winner was unsuccessful in locating the 46-year-old, according to a status conference brief filed on Tuesday, March 19.
The documents mentioned that Griffin will continue to try to find Bick and will now move forward with entering his default.
Griffin filed for divorce and asked the court to end spousal support for both of them. She also wanted the prenuptial agreement they made in December 2019 to be enforced.
They first started dating in 2011, but they had a short breakup in 2018.

In 2019, they reconciled and tied the knot at Griffin's home on January 1, 2020. The ceremony was officiated by Lily Tomlin.
Griffin clarified that their wedding was unconventional.
"We're opting for toy rings during the ceremony since neither of us enjoy wearing rings. We've decided that we won't be wearing rings at all," she shared with People. "That's just how it is, so accept it."
Bick is Griffin’s second husband. She was previously married to Matt Moline from 2001 to 2006.
When Griffin and Bick started dating in 2011, she didn’t think their relationship would last.
During a 2016 interview with People, she confessed, "I thought he was just a man-whore, if you will." After five years together, she described their relationship as enjoyable, highlighting his sweet and mellow personality. She emphasized that he is a regular guy, not like a typical Hollywood figure.
When her first Valentine's Day post-divorce came around, Griffin expressed that she was not feeling the celebratory spirit.
I'm going through a divorce. Forget Valentine's Day and forget all of you. Oops, did I say that? Thank goodness I have three shows this weekend. I'm going to treat every audience member like my own personal Valentine, no matter who they love.
Adding a touch of humor, Griffin posted photos of herself running down the aisle of a plane in a white lace bra. "This is how I'm feeling on Valentine's Day! Let's do this!" she wrote in the caption.
