Kate has maintained a low profile since revealing her diagnosis in a video on March 22. She, along with Prince William and their three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, chose to skip the royal family’s Easter church service and celebrate the holiday privately.
Although details about Kate’s current health are scarce, her uncle Gary Goldsmith provided a rare update during a March 29 appearance on the Spanish television show ¡De Viernes! He mentioned being in touch with his sister Carole Middleton to ensure Kate is doing well, acknowledging that she is facing a tough and challenging situation.
He continued: “I don’t know anybody else who’s had to deal with something like that, deal with their children and then have to offer explanations to the national and international media in such a public scenario.”
In January, Kensington Palace announced that Kate had undergone a “planned” abdominal surgery and would be taking a break from royal engagements to recover. She had not been seen publicly since December 2023. Kate decided to share her cancer diagnosis after various conspiracy theories about her absence circulated on social media.
