Many are taking a lighthearted approach, joking about the unexpected scene that was not part of the original manga. One user humorously suggested: “Mahito witnessed the trauma left by Sukuna on Yuji and thought he'd one-up him by attempting to kiss Yuji.”

As a Gen Z fan, I have mixed feelings about the anime-exclusive scene in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. On one hand, I appreciate the originality and creativity of the scene. It was unexpected and caught me off guard, which is always a good thing in my opinion. On the other hand, I'm not sure if the scene really fits with the tone of the show. Jujutsu Kaisen is a pretty serious and dark show, so the comedic nature of the scene felt a bit out of place.
Overall, I think the scene was a bit of a miss for me. However, I can appreciate the fact that the creators are willing to take risks and try new things. I'm excited to see what they do next with the show.
