In Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 247, Higurama and Yuji teamed up to attempt to use the Executioner's Sword to stab Ryomen Sukuna. Fans are well aware of Sukuna's overwhelming power and plot armor, as demonstrated in the latest chapter. However, Sukuna is not the only character benefiting from plot armor.
In the previous chapter, the Jujutsu sorcerers made their best effort to defeat Sukuna using the Executioner's Sword. Despite Higurama's lack of battle experience putting them at a disadvantage, even Sukuna himself acknowledged Higurama's talent and determination, likening him to Satoru Gojo.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuji Itadori may be just as "broken" as Ryomen Sukuna

In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 247, a confrontation unfolds between Hiromi Higurama and Sukuna. Despite Yuji's attempt to help Higurama, Sukuna remains focused solely on engaging with Higurama. In a swift move, Sukuna touches Yuji's torso, unleashing the Cleave technique and inflicting a severe wound to Itadori's stomach. Following this, the King of Curses dismisses Yuji as uninteresting, declaring that he fails to excite him in any way.
Following this, Sukuna turned his full attention to Higurama, swiftly severing his right arm. Surprisingly, instead of finishing him off, Sukuna commanded Higurama to utilize the Reversed Cursed Technique to heal himself. In the midst of this, Sukuna was unexpectedly attacked by Piercing Blood. Although Sukuna initially suspected it was Choso, the manga didn't clearly confirm the identity of the assailant.

Shortly after, Higurama shocked everyone by using the Reversed Cursed Technique to regenerate his arm and then launching an attack with the Executioner's Sword. However, Sukuna was able to counter it by cutting off his hand. Despite the seemingly dire situation, Yuji suddenly appeared behind Sukuna and attempted to execute him despite being attacked by Cleave.
This fight sequence in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 247 highlights the revelation that Yuji Itadori has a plot armor as strong as Sukuna's. The first piece of evidence is the use of Piercing Blood, with Sukuna initially mistaking it for Choso's attack, leading to speculations that it was actually Yuji.

In a previous segment of the manga, Yuji expressed his readiness to consume anything that would aid him in overcoming Sukuna. Considering Choso's earlier remark about retrieving Shosho, there is a strong indication that Yuji may have ingested Death Painting Wombs and potentially gained their abilities.
If that's the case, the fact that Yuji can just consume Death Painting Wombs and receive their powers is just overpowered.

Additionally, Yuji's survival of Sukuna's Cleave indicates a significant increase in his strength. It is plausible that Yuji's newfound abilities may include the power to heal or regenerate, or even the mastery of the Reversed Cursed Technique. Another possibility is that Sukuna's attack was less effective due to Yuji absorbing his Cursed Energy, resulting in similar energies that rendered the attack less damaging, as previously detailed in the manga.

Editor's P/S
As an enthusiastic fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am thrilled to see the latest developments in the manga. Chapter 247 has revealed that Yuji Itadori possesses plot armor that rivals even Sukuna's, making him a formidable opponent in the fight against the King of Curses. The possibility that Yuji has consumed Death Painting Wombs and gained their abilities is an exciting prospect, as it would significantly enhance his powers and make him a more compelling character.
Furthermore, Yuji's survival of Sukuna's Cleave technique and his ability to regenerate his wounds suggest that he has undergone a significant power-up. Whether this is due to his own innate abilities, the absorption of Sukuna's Cursed Energy, or some other factor, remains to be seen. Regardless, it is clear that Yuji is becoming a force to be reckoned with, and I am eager to see how he will continue to grow and develop as the story progresses.
