Shueisha's official Shonen Jump YouTube channel released the MMV "Strongest Vs. Strongest" at 11:53 pm on January 3, 2024. The video primarily focused on the end of the Culling Game arc and included sporadic scenes from later chapters, along with two additional panels of Gojo and Sukuna drawn by Mangaka Gege Akutami. The voiceover introduced the two fighters in a WWE or Boxing match style, offering funny commentary on both characters. The narrator described Sukuna as "enthusiastic about cutting things into pieces" and Gojo as "an Idiotic individualist," roughly translated from the original Japanese.

The video also included two memorable lines delivered by Sukuna and Gojo’s voice actors Junichi Suwabe and Yuichi Nakamura, respectively. Sukuna’s “Know your place, fool” (spoken to Mahito) and Gojo’s “I am the strongest” (spoken to Yuji), were both taken from the anime's first season.

Editor's P/S

As a hard fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am thrilled about the release of the epic Gojo VS Sukuna PV and the upcoming 25th volume of the manga. The PV offers a glimpse into the highly-anticipated showdown between these two iconic characters, featuring stunning original art by Gege Akutami. The voiceover and animated manga panels from the Shinjuku Showdown arc add to the excitement, making this a must-watch for any Jujutsu Kaisen fan.

The release of the PV and volume 25 is a strategic move by Shueisha, considering the current break in the manga serialization and the conclusion of the anime's second season. It keeps the fans engaged and eager for more Jujutsu Kaisen content. The inclusion of memorable lines from the anime's first season, delivered by the talented voice actors Junichi Suwabe and Yuichi Nakamura, adds a nostalgic touch to the PV. Overall, I am incredibly excited about the future of Jujutsu Kaisen and can't wait to experience the upcoming battles, character development, and surprises that Gege Akutami has in store for us.
