Is Aoi Todo still alive in Jujutsu Kaisen?

The Shibuya Incident arc in Jujutsu Kaisen has resulted in the deaths of numerous characters, but Aoi Todo is one of the few who has survived. After his final act of applause, however, he does not make any further appearances. With the inability to use his Boogie Woogie technique again, he is effectively retired as a Jujutsu sorcerer.
Furthermore, it is unlikely that Todo will ever be able to use his technique again, as Mahito’s Idle Transfiguration can permanently alter the soul's shape. Even though Reverse Cursed Technique can heal severe injuries, such as regenerating limbs, it is not a guarantee in the supernatural world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Geto crushed Maki's leg in the prequel movie, but Yuta was able to effortlessly heal her. However, his technique was unable to heal the damage done to her soul. Mahito, after transforming Junpei in front of Yuji, regretted his decision and wished he had simply injured him instead of using his technique on him.
This would have allowed Yuji to convince Sukuna to take over his body and heal Junpei using the Reverse Cursed Technique. This implies that once damage has been done to someone's soul, it cannot be reversed.

As a devoted fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I was deeply affected by the fate of Aoi Todo after his intense battle against Mahito. Todo's unwavering dedication to helping Yuji and his eccentric personality made him a beloved character, and his surprise appearance in Shibuya proved to be a pivotal moment in saving Yuji from despair. However, the consequences he faced for coming to Yuji's rescue were devastating, leaving him unable to use his innate technique and effectively retiring him as a Jujutsu sorcerer.
The Shibuya Incident arc resulted in numerous character deaths, but Todo's survival offered a glimmer of hope. However, the revelation that Mahito's Idle Transfiguration can permanently alter the soul's shape, making it unlikely that Todo will ever be able to use his technique again, was a crushing blow. This implies that once damage has been done to someone's soul, it cannot be reversed, adding a tragic dimension to Todo's fate.
