In episode 44 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Nobara, Megumi, and Yuji were enjoying some snacks and coffee when Nobara accidentally spilled her drink on Gojo's shirt. Despite their efforts to clean it, Nobara tried to play it off by suggesting the shirt might be cheap, leading them to look up the price. To their surprise, they discovered it was worth 250,000 yen. As Gojo came to collect the shirt, Nobara and Yuji hilariously stuffed it inside Megumi's uniform, much to Gojo's confusion. Then, they couldn't resist laughing as they pulled the shirt out in front of him.

Some Jujutsu Kaisen fans found the scene slightly disappointing. In the manga, Yuji tried to dab the stain clean and then held up the shirt for Nobara to inspect. However, in the anime, the shirt remained on the table.
Fans felt that MAPPA missed an opportunity to allow them to compare Gojo's torso size with Yuji's by not having Yuji hold the shirt in the anime. They believed that seeing the difference in size between the teacher and the student would have been interesting. As a result, Jujutsu Kaisen fans chose to treasure the manga panel instead.
