Nanami understands the difficulties of being a Jujutsu sorcerer, which is why he is concerned about seeing young people like Yuji and Megumi wasting their potential. When Megumi was taken away by Toji, Nanami was the only one who stepped in to rescue him.

Although he was badly injured from being burned alive, it was remarkable that he could walk at all. In addition to worrying about Megumi, Nanami is also concerned about the whereabouts of Maki and Naobito. Despite his injuries, he bravely walked through Shibuya and encountered numerous transformed humans.

Nanami bravely fights on despite being severely injured. When he encounters Mahito, he knows his time is up. In his final moments, Nanami has a vision of his old friend Yu Haibara, who gestures toward Yuji arriving on the scene. Devastated by the chaos in Shibuya, Yuji witnesses Nanami being killed in an explosion.

Even if Nanami hadn't risked his life to save Megumi, he wouldn't have survived Jogo's attack. Naobito and Maki also fell victim to Jogo's fire, but Maki's Heavenly Restricted body allowed her to survive. In contrast, Naobito sustained fatal injuries and died a few days later. Nanami's fate mirrors Naobito's, but he meets his end shortly after encountering Mahito.

As a Gen Z netizen, I feel devastated by Nanami's death in Jujutsu Kaisen. His selfless act of saving Megumi ultimately led to his demise, and it's heartbreaking to see such a beloved characterを失う.

However, I believe that Nanami's fate was sealed the moment he chose to become a Jujutsu sorcerer. He knew the risks involved and was willing to sacrifice himself to protect others. His death was a tragic but necessary part of the story, and it will be interesting to see how the series progresses without him.
