"JJK leaker Jujutsu kaisen (@jjkleaker) December 27, 2023 tweeted about the new chapter titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, part 19.” The chapter begins with Sukuna being impressed by Higuruma’s distinct cursed energy, even comparing him to himself."
In this chapter, he addresses Higuruma by his full name, granting him the same respect as Jogo and Gojo. Unfortunately, this does not ultimately save Higuruma as Sukuna begins chanting for his own Cursed Technique. Despite Higuruma's realization of the plan and attempt to rush towards him, Sukuna's Dismantle Slashes prevent him from reaching his goal.
Now we turn to Yuji, who has endured much hardship in previous chapters, leading fans to plead with Gege Akutami to bring relief. In this chapter, Yuji tries to intervene to save Higuruma but is thwarted by the same slashes. Sukuna then overpowers Yuji, tossing him aside before engaging in hand-to-hand combat with the lawyer.
Higuruma is clearly outmatched by Sukuna, who spends most of the fight toying with him. The chant for The Slash that Divides the World begins, but Sukuna is simply toying with him. The slash is a modified version, only severing Higuruma's right hand and then his left. Despite Higuruma's ability to heal himself with his Reversed Cursed Technique, it appears that it's only a matter of time before he falls to Sukuna.
However, Akutami has a surprise in store. Sukuna falls victim to Choso’s Piercing Blood attack. Seizing the opportunity, Higuruma wields the Executioner’s Sword, only for Sukuna to anticipate his move. Sukuna quickly severs his own hand to evade the sword, and ultimately splits Higuruma in two, right before Yuji’s gaze.
After Higuruma's death, Yuji takes possession of the Executioner's sword. The chapter ends with the teenager getting ready to stab Sukuna from behind while he is distracted. You can find the release date for Chapter 247 here.

Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I am thrilled about the latest spoilers for Chapter 247. The highly anticipated showdown between Sukuna and Higuruma promises to be epic, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. Gege Akutami has a knack for creating intense and unpredictable battles, and I have no doubt that this one will be no exception. The fact that Sukuna acknowledges Higuruma's strength by addressing him with respect adds another layer of intrigue to the fight.
However, I am also concerned about Yuji's well-being. He has been through so much already, and it's heartbreaking to see him suffer. I hope that he will find a way to overcome Sukuna and save Megumi. The introduction of the Executioner's Sword adds an interesting twist to the story, and I'm eager to see how Yuji will use it. Overall, I have high expectations for Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 247, and I can't wait to read it when it's released.
