A judge has dismissed several of Brad Pitt’s complaints about ex Angelina Jolie in relation to their winery dispute during their ongoing divorce.

Jolie's attorney, Paul Murphy, shared with Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, March 20, that most of Mr. Pitt's claims were dismissed by the judge due to lack of legal basis. He mentioned that the lawsuit was not primarily about a business disagreement, but rather about Pitt's efforts to conceal serious abuse. Murphy expressed satisfaction that a significant portion of Pitt's complaint was thrown out by the judge.

Murphy continued, “Angelina truly harbors no ill will toward Mr. Pitt, and hopes he will now release her from his frivolous lawsuit, stop his relentless attacks, and join her in helping their family heal in private.”

Pitt, who is 60 years old, and Jolie, who is 48, were married from 2014 to 2016 and officially became legally single in 2019. During their divorce proceedings, they also had disagreements over the ownership of their Château Miraval winery. In 2021, Jolie sold her share of the winery, a year before Pitt filed a lawsuit against her regarding the sale.

In June 2022, Pitt claimed that Jolie's decision to sell their shared property was meant to hurt him during their divorce.

According to court documents, Pitt and Jolie bought the château and vineyard together as a home for their family and a business. They had agreed not to sell their shares in Miraval without each other's permission. The couple celebrated holidays and even got married at Miraval in 2014.

Pitt and Jolie have six children together: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and their twins Knox and Vivienne, who are both 15. During their divorce, they had disagreements over who would have custody of their younger children.

The divorce proceedings are almost finished, with the finalization expected earlier this year.

The negotiation process was difficult, but finally, the financial documents were submitted in the last few weeks. A source shared exclusively with Us earlier this month that Brad is eager to move forward and sees this final step as a sign of closure and the definitive end of their relationship.

Another source informed Us that it is probable that Jolie will have primary custody of their children Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. Pitt currently has visitation rights, with a third insider mentioning that he hopes for a stronger relationship with the children and is willing to work on it.

Pitt has since moved on with Ines de Ramon, who was previously married to actor Paul Wesley. De Ramon, 34, and Pitt have been linked since late 2022.

Editor's P/S:

The ongoing legal battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over their winery is a testament to the complexities of divorce, particularly when high-profile figures and substantial assets are involved. The fact that several of Pitt's complaints have been dismissed suggests that the court is scrutinizing the claims carefully and focusing on their legal basis. Jolie's attorney's comments about concealing abuse highlight the importance of addressing potential underlying issues in a divorce proceeding, beyond financial matters.

It is clear that both Pitt and Jolie are eager to move forward with their lives, as evidenced by the finalization of their divorce and Pitt's new relationship. However, the custody arrangements for their children remain uncertain, and it is crucial that both parents prioritize their well-being and foster a healthy relationship with them. The ongoing negotiations and legal proceedings demonstrate the challenges and complexities involved in dissolving a marriage and dividing assets, but it is hoped that both parties can ultimately find a resolution that allows them to move on with their lives and provide the best possible environment for their children.
