Jo Wenberg, a star from Vanderpump Rules, revealed that Tom Schwartz blocked her on Instagram after she discussed his girlfriend, Sophia Skoro, during a live stream.
During an Instagram Live session on Friday, May 10, Jo, who is 35 years old, shared screenshots of text messages she claimed were from Schwartz, who is 41 years old.
Please refrain from mentioning me or my girlfriend in any conversations. It is not worth your time to continue pursuing someone who is not interested in being with you. According to Jo, who was reading from her cell phone, one message from Schwartz conveyed this sentiment.
Although Schwartz clarified that he was not attempting to manipulate Jo, he requested that she respect his decision to move on. He also mentioned that he would be blocking her, indicating that any further communication from her would not be acknowledged.
Jo expressed her intention to keep discussing the reality star as he played a significant role in her life. She mentioned feeling a sense of connection with Schwartz's ex-wife, Katie Maloney.

Jo mentioned that Katie, 37, may have been correct in her assessment. Jo also acknowledged that Katie was unkind to her during season 11. Despite this, Jo admitted that she learned a valuable lesson from the experience.
Jo went live on Instagram the day after she referred to Schwartz's girlfriend as "a fan" on the same platform. She mentioned, "I think Tom Schwartz is dating a fan. Sorry, I mean, I just know that for a fact," when talking about Sophia, who was first linked romantically with Schwartz in March. Jo expressed her support for their relationship, stating, "And I think that that’s amazing. … Like, let’s just let him do his thing."
After splitting with Schwartz in March 2022 following 12 years together, Katie was romantically linked to Jo in December of the same year. By February 2023, Schwartz mentioned that he and Jo were living together but clarified that their relationship was purely platonic.
Despite Schwartz's claims, Jo did not receive a warm reception from Schwartz's Vanderpump Rules castmates. During the season 11 reunion, Katie revealed that she felt Schwartz exhibited "a bit of a F-boy behavior" after hearing Jo's perspective on the situation.
In April, Katie exclusively shared with We that seeing how Jo and her partner interacted was eye-opening. She felt for Jo because he was stringing her along and not fully committing. It made Katie sad to see Jo invest in the relationship with real feelings, only to be treated that way.
Editor's P/S:
The ongoing drama between Vanderpump Rules stars Jo Wenberg, Tom Schwartz, and Katie Maloney is a fascinating glimpse into the complexities of relationships and fame. Jo's decision to discuss Schwartz's girlfriend on Instagram and his subsequent blocking of her highlights the sensitive nature of post-breakup dynamics, especially when played out in the public eye. It also raises questions about the boundaries of respecting privacy and the right to move on.
Wenberg's decision to go live on Instagram and share screenshots of text messages from Schwartz suggests a desire for closure and a need to process her emotions publicly. However, Schwartz's request for her to respect his decision and refrain from discussing him or his girlfriend may indicate a boundary that Wenberg is struggling to accept. The situation is further complicated by Wenberg's connection to Maloney, Schwartz's ex-wife, and her own experiences with the cast during season 11. The interplay between personal relationships, public scrutiny, and the desire for closure makes this a compelling and thought-provoking story.
