Jo Wenberg, a newcomer to Vanderpump Rules, is open to the idea of a future with Tom Schwartz, despite their breakup and his new girlfriend. During an Instagram Live session, Jo answered questions that shed light on her previous relationship with Schwartz, 41, and her desire for a possible reconciliation.
Jo shared with Bravo fans in a clip posted by Instagram account Vanderpod Recaps that Schwartz was really skilled in bed. She expressed bewilderment over why his ex-wife Katie Maloney did not appreciate his performance. Jo emphasized that Schwartz was excellent in that department.
Even though Jo mentioned her concerns about Katie, who was married to Schwartz for six years before their split in 2022, she clarified that there were no hard feelings. Jo also suggested that she and Katie were both deceived in a similar manner by Schwartz.
Jo agreed with a fan who said she was a good match for Schwartz, responding with a simple "yeah, probably." She also liked it when another person called Schwartz her "other half."
When asked if she believed Schwartz was her other half, Jo replied, "Yes I do. But I think it will take some time. In due time."
Jo's friend, who joined the live chat, mentioned that the hairstylist had been saying for a while that she could see herself being with Schwartz in the long run.
In response, Jo expressed uncertainty about getting back together in the future. Jo also mentioned meeting Schwartz's current girlfriend, Sophia Skoro, describing her as sweet and great.

Jo was reportedly informed by others that Sophia, 23, was a fan of the show before she met Schwartz.
Clips of Jo answering questions were posted on social media, prompting reactions from some members of Vanderpump Rules and The Valley casts. Kristen Doute, who used to be friends with Jo, responded to the video with a simple "lol." (During the Q&A, Jo mentioned that she had no intention of rekindling her friendship with Kristen, 41.)
Zack Wickham, a friend of the Vanderpump Rules cast, shared his perspective. He pointed out that Tom doesn't want to talk to you, and if he does, it's just to be polite. Additionally, Sophia is not a fan of the show, although you were a fan when you met Kristen. Zack could continue with more examples, but he chose to end on this note.
Zach expressed his disappointment, mentioning that it was the person themselves who chose fame over friendship with Kristen. He highlighted the support and financial help Kristen had provided when no one else did. Zach emphasized that claiming to not want to be friends with Kristen again is not a valid choice.
Schwartz's relationship with Jo began shortly after his divorce from Katie. They were confirmed to have hooked up during the season 10 reunion and their connection was showcased more prominently in the following season of the show.
As Bravo viewers observed their relationship unravel, Schwartz and Jo each shared their perspectives on what caused their breakup. Schwartz faced criticism for appearing to lead Jo on without any real intention of pursuing a romantic relationship with her.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in February, Schwartz admitted, "There may have been some mixed signals. We had a special connection for a while there. I'm not sure if it was sustainable considering my mental state at the time. I don't think I was ready for a traditional relationship."
Schwartz joked about his past struggles with relationships, saying he should have focused on his mental health instead of looking for a girlfriend. He admitted to being in a strange mental state that he had never experienced before. He then ended by saying, "I'll stop talking about it now."
Jo suggested that a lack of trust in the relationship caused problems between them.
Jo, who ended her relationship with Schwartz on screen, mentioned on an April episode of the “Rachel Goes Rogue” podcast that the one thing missing was trust. She expressed that it's okay not to dictate who he should be with, and she needs to focus on moving forward and improving herself. Looking back, she feels grateful for the happiness they shared and the countless laughs they had together.
During the podcast, Jo revealed that she and Schwartz are no longer in contact by mutual decision. She emphasized the need for boundaries but acknowledged that this doesn't rule out the possibility of reconnecting in the future, expressing that she still misses him.
While rewatching season 11, Jo remembered feeling "depressed" after the breakup. She shared with Rachel "Raquel" Leviss how difficult it was for her.
Jo expressed, "It was really tough because I had never been with someone who made me smile almost every single second of every day, only to have it all come to an end. It hasn't been easy."
She reminisced about the happiness and love they shared, being in their own bubble of love and affection. Jo revealed that when the cameras were around, it felt like she didn't even exist.
Jo also mentioned that Schwartz seemed more devoted to her when they were not being filmed. She shared, "It was really challenging. It was incredibly tough. I still get chills just thinking about it. Sometimes, when the cameras were off, he would fabricate stories and claim that we were seeing other people. But I wasn't seeing anyone else."
In contrast, Schwartz has recently stated that he does not intend to reveal the true reasons behind their separation.
He mentioned on “The Viall Files” podcast earlier this month that certain things happened, which he prefers not to discuss publicly. These events were significant reasons for his decision to distance himself. He acknowledged that he made a mistake by not communicating openly with her, as it would have led to a difficult conversation. He admitted that he lacked the energy to address the situation directly.
He also expressed that he opted to step back in a passive and respectful manner. Despite the circumstances, he emphasized his desire to avoid tarnishing Jo's reputation, recognizing her as a wonderful person.
During her live Q&A session, Jo mentioned that she was unsure about what Schwartz was talking about. She said, "We don't know what that one big thing was. We don't know. Let him go, let him date. We are broken up. It is what it is."
