Jinger Duggar's Excitement to Dive into Sister Jill's Explosive Memoir Leaves Fans in Anticipation

Jinger Duggar, former star of '19 Kids and Counting,' is eagerly anticipating the release of her sister Jill Duggar's highly-anticipated memoir, 'Counting the Cost' Get ready to delve into the captivating world of the Duggar family in this explosive tell-all!

Jinger Duggar, a personality from the show 19 Kids and Counting, expressed her anticipation for reading her sister Jill Duggar's memoir, titled Counting the Cost. In a recently uploaded YouTube video on September 27, the 29-year-old admitted that she has not yet read the tell-all book but mentioned her eagerness to do so.

Jinger, the TLC star, expressed her recent support for her sister Jill, 32, during her appearance on the Tamron Hall Show. She emphasized her love and backing for Jill, stating how happy she is that Jill has found her voice and is now sharing her own story. Jinger was accompanied by her husband Jeremy Vuolo on the talk show, where she commended Jill's bravery and acknowledged that sharing her story was undoubtedly the most difficult step for her.

Jinger and Jill, two of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children, have publicly discussed their conservative religious upbringing and their experiences on their family’s reality series 19 Kids and Counting and its spinoff, Counting On.

Before Jill’s book was published, Jinger wrote her own memoir called Becoming Free Indeed: Disentangling Faith From Fear, which was released in January. In the book, she revealed that during the first year of her marriage to Jeremy, 36, whom she married in 2016, she never voiced her opinions. She learned from her upbringing that she had to constantly perform to keep her spouse loyal, but Jeremy helped her see the value in a different kind of partnership.

"He gently encouraged me to express my thoughts and opinions freely, without the need to apologize. He emphasized the importance of authenticity, and urged me to be true to myself," she wrote. "On multiple occasions, he would tell me, 'Jing, you're not a Stepford wife.' Curious, I once asked him to explain the term, and upon understanding its meaning, I realized that he wanted me to be independent in my thinking, to form my own beliefs, and to identify my likes and dislikes."

In "Counting the Cost," Jill revealed her sentiments about her parents' efforts to shield her brother Josh Duggar from negative publicity.

"Despite my love for my parents and their intentions to protect and care for their child, I couldn't help but dwell on the extreme measures Pops had taken to safeguard Josh's privacy and shield him from public humiliation," she expressed. Learning that Josh, 35, had confessed in an August 2015 statement about watching pornography and cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar, only intensified these thoughts. "As the night progressed, my discomfort grew overwhelmingly, leaving me feeling profoundly unwell."

19 Kids and Counting faced cancellation in 2015 after the revelation that Josh, as a teenager, had engaged in molestation against several girls, including his own sisters. Jill and her sister Jessa, both victims, stood by their family during an interview with Megyn Kelly. In Jill's book, Counting the Cost, she disclosed that Josh was present during the filming of the interview. Jill also expressed her astonishment and shock upon learning about Josh's arrest in 2021 for possessing and receiving child pornography. She emphasized her desire for the truth to emerge, for the evidence to be presented, and for Josh to receive a lengthy imprisonment.

Although Jill seethed with anger towards her brother, she also experienced a profound sense of sadness. She mourned the fact that Josh had transformed into a monstrous figure, regretting the countless opportunities he had squandered to change his ways. It was disheartening to witness his relentless descent down a dark and treacherous path. Like the rest of the world, Jill had finally come to recognize her eldest brother's true nature— a man who lacked self-control and remained oblivious to the profound harm he caused others.
