Jennifer Garner's Emotional Father's Day Tribute to Ben Affleck Puts Jennifer Lopez's Effort in Shade

"Happy Father's Day to the most exceptional dad. (Wore jeans to church - made it on time, but my luggage didn't). We adore you, Dad. X," wrote actress Jennifer Garner, 51, in an Instagram post on Sunday, June 18. The post included a picture of her with her parents. She further added, "PS Special mention to BGA - no one cherishes their children the way you do ours. Happy Father's Day, Ben! X."

Garner and Affleck, who were married for a decade from 2005 to 2015 and finalized their divorce in 2018, have three children together: Violet, aged 17, Seraphina, aged 14, and Samuel, aged 11. On his special day, Affleck received a heartfelt tribute from his current partner, Jennifer Lopez. Taking to Instagram, the singer, aged 53, expressed her gratitude and love for him, while also extending her wishes to all the incredible fathers out there.

Affleck's mirror selfie in the post showcased his shirtless physique, revealing his collection of tattoos and well-defined six-pack abs. This snapshot came after the actor, who was once engaged to Lopez between 2002 and 2004, reignited their romance in early 2021 following her separation from former fiancé Alex Rodriguez. During this period, it was reported that Garner and Lopez maintained a positive relationship.

Garner and Lopez have since been seen together on numerous occasions, enjoying public outings with their respective families. (Lopez, who is known for her role in the film "Hustlers," shares twins Max and Emme with her former husband Marc Anthony, whom she divorced in the past.)

In April 2022, Lopez surprised her fans by announcing that Affleck had proposed to her for the second time, 20 years after their initial engagement. Sharing the heartfelt moment, she revealed, "Saturday night, while I was enjoying my favorite place on earth - in the bubble bath - my beautiful love got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was completely caught off guard and couldn't help but smile and cry at the same time as I looked into his eyes."

Lopez recently provided insight into her and Affleck's approach to co-parenting their children.

“She explained in an interview with Vogue in November 2022 that the transition needs to be approached with great care, as teenagers have a multitude of emotions. However, she expressed that the process has been going smoothly thus far. Lopez emphasized her desire for her children to view her and Affleck as allies, someone who loves and cares for them but can also offer a different perspective and help her see things that may be obscured due to her emotional attachment to her children.”

Regarding Garner, Lopez commended her as a remarkable co-parent and highlighted their strong ability to work together effectively.

They have developed a strong connection over the past year or two, according to another insider who disclosed this information earlier in the year. In May, the source revealed to Us that Lopez and Garner have grown closer and have taken the time to truly understand each other. The insider also mentioned that both women are exceptional mothers who prioritize their children above everything else.
