Garner and Miller started dating in 2018, the same year Garner's divorce from Ben Affleck was finalized. The actors ended their 10-year marriage in 2015 and share kids Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel. Miller was still legally married to ex-wife Caroline Campbell when he and Garner began seeing each other. The former couple split in June 2011, got back together in February 2012, and filed for divorce again in October 2014.
After two years of being separated, Garner and Miller announced in August 2020 that they had ended their relationship on good terms. However, in May 2021, it was confirmed that they had reignited their romance. A source revealed, "Jen and John are back together. It all started a few weeks ago."
Since then, the couple has maintained a strong relationship, with another source revealing in January 2023 that Garner has no intention of slowing things down or spending less time together.

Garber, who officiated her wedding to Affleck in Turks and Caicos, expressed, “I think he’s adorable. What’s wonderful is they’re taking their time and they are just enjoying each other’s company.
