Jennifer Garner Takes Her Mom to Hollywood Star

Jennifer Garner proudly displayed her Hollywood Walk of Fame star to her biggest fan: her mom.

Her mom, Patricia, excitedly exclaimed, “It’s here! Jennifer Garner,” in a video posted on the actress’ Instagram Story on Monday, May 27.

Garner, 52, filmed the duo walking towards the star's location in Los Angeles. As they got closer to the landmark, Garner had her 86-year-old mom stand on top of the star to take her picture.

"Go ahead, Ma! Stand right there, stand on that," she told her mother as Patricia happily posed for the photo.

In a subsequent story, Garner took a photo of her star and captioned it with "It's still there."

Garner was awarded her star in August 2018. During the ceremony, her late parents, alongside her children Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, and sisters Susannah and Melissa, were all present. In her speech, Garner expressed her gratitude to her kids, who she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, and playfully teased her mom's reaction to the award.

When I shared the news of this upcoming honor with my mother, her first reaction was, "I never thought I'd have a daughter with a star on the Walk of Fame." To which I playfully responded, "I would have been concerned if you had!" It's not something you anticipate. I'm sure if you asked the mothers of the stars nearby, none of them expected it either.

Jennifer also took a moment to express gratitude towards her mom for the unwavering support and love she received growing up, which played a significant role in making her dreams a reality.
