Jennifer Aniston shared about her career and life experiences during The Hollywood Reporter's Drama Actress Roundtable. She expressed gratitude towards Nicole Kidman for her support.

During the roundtable discussion published on May 29, Aniston and Kidman, along with other actresses, were asked about who has helped them navigate the challenging aspects of the entertainment industry.

That’s when Aniston, who is 55 years old, reached out to Kidman, who is 56 years old.

“When we worked together on the movie in Hawaii back in 2011 called Just Go With It, you were there for me during some tough times,” Aniston shared. “Having that support system really made a difference for me.”

Aniston chose not to go into detail about the challenges she faced during those difficult times.

She also supported Brie Larson's sentiment about the importance of building strong relationships in Hollywood. Larson shared that she has made a conscious effort to befriend other women in the industry over the years, as there often was only one woman on a project. Connecting with other women has made a significant difference for Larson, allowing her to share experiences, discuss discomforts, and find humor in situations.

“It’s so true,” Aniston said.

The camaraderie among the group was evident as they took turns sharing their thoughts. Naomi Watts mentioned her close bond with Nicole, expressing gratitude for her guidance. "Nic has definitely been a guiding force for me," Watts stated, reflecting on their 40-year friendship.

Kidman noted, “And it did not start in acting.” Watts offered, “No, it started down at the pub.”

Watts went onto admit that just watching Jodie Foster act made a difference in her career.

"Not all of our mentors are on set," she mentioned. "I have to say, Jodie... We may only be a few years apart, but your career was already thriving for a long time and your performances truly impacted my life. I can still vividly recall The Accused."

"You were practically a baby back then, and look at how well you've turned out," Kidman gushed.

Foster expressed his optimism, saying, "Well, it gets better, right? The generation before us kept telling us that things were just going to get worse — we’ll hit 40 and it’s over." He mentioned feeling happiest as an actor at 60, emphasizing the contentedness of focusing on serving others on set rather than oneself. This shift in mindset not only brings more joy and freedom but also reduces anxiety commonly felt by younger individuals.

Anna Sawai, the youngest panelist, shared her perspective. When asked if the other actresses would serve as her guides, she explained that she has gathered valuable advice from various co-stars and individuals working behind the scenes.
